Caught a limit on Grand Terre beach before the storm and then only 25 last Friday in perfect conditions. Think the storm had something to do with the trout bite slowing?

Where are these islands your talking about? I only have a kayak
@tommyvidrine4 жыл бұрын
Scott Farar FiFi island is directly north of Queen Bess development. Rocks all around it
@crossacoustics68144 жыл бұрын
Scott Farar drop your kayak at the sand dollar boat launch - there are lots of boats coming and going so be VERY aware & careful. Paddle across channel to the right. There’s a rock point. Fish the point on any tide. Live shrimp is BEST. Artificial works decent. Again, although it’s not a long distance- there are lots of boats in the area. Have fun but BE SAFE. Also - kayak rocks along the outside beach. Fish the tides - the fish are resting OUT OF THE TIDE. Again - live shrimp. The fish spook (maybe not with a kayak) so once you pull up, give it time, up to 30min depending on how much you disturb them.
