Today I was able to have Terri and her Grandson Colby aboard today to assist Capt Randal Shaw
They flew all the way from California to experience Louisiana Fishing
Both caught their first ever speckled trout today
After getting Campo’s Marina live shrimp and hearing up with Blue Collar Baits, LLC and Undertaker Corks We left The Patriot Fishing Lodge and headed into the marsh with a stiff NW wind
First spot 1 fish. Had to bounce around a lot to stay out the wind and find clean water.
Once we did it was on
2 at a time double rigged, jigging tight lining and under cork
Ended the day fighting the wind and the 3 ft rollers with 14 Specks and 5 freshwater Catfish
A day in the water is always a good day
