I completely missed on Sword of Forge and Frontier. I always looked down on it because I thought that it's just a worse Sword of Hearth and Home, but in this deck it just makes sense. If I'm going to ramp, might as well do it with my opponent's lands!

Yo I love the video I really liked the specific break down on all the cards, how many ramp, card draw etc. and that you went through each card by category! Very nice man; I am torn on this deck and the izzit spell slinger deck, but I’m leaning towards this deck as it seems pretty unique and fun…. And if worse case scenario I hate it I’ll build 5 boots lol

yeah i think 5 boots will ultimately be the more popular commander as it has a lot more room for variation. but thank you! :)

Spell jacker triggers on attacks and not combat damage so it’s even better. That cipher card on Felix is GG. if Felix is out already and this spell resolves on let’s say a demonic tutor. You’re getting a total of 3 tutors when your creature hits for damage. Essentially a 1 card win con. Def putting it on my cedh deck

Love the video. The one question I have/don’t understand. Is how does the extra land from sword of forge and frontier trigger Tasha statically?

That is actually my mistake, you would play the land from exile but it would have to be a cast to trigger Tasha. But you would still want to have access to ramp from the lands in exile as you will potentially have access to several.

I was thinking about how faldorn makes 2/2 wolves from exile but she specifically states separately that lands trigger her. I probably just got excited haha

Why would happen if a card that is exiled from your opponent has a different color than the color of your lands?

Most of the exile cards from our deck do specify that mana of any color can be spent to cast them. But you also do have access to play your opponents lands from exile also, and you would potentially end up with lands that generate other colors that way, or lands like exotic orchard would be able to tap for those colors.
