Straight up metal, no additional genre identifiers needed. Easily identifiable riff, the kind that when a fan hears it live they instantly know what song it is and the cheers go up. Solid melody. Nobody's going to be blown away by it, but it's a good solid listen.

Wow. That voice. Yes, that's a really good voice that from the start of the song did remind me of the voice of Chris Cornell. A bit of the same throaty and strong sound. The song over all is nice and catchy.
