Whenever I feel like I'm doing well with forms, I watch Grandmasters Lee's videos. It makes me humble again.

Thanks for posting these. I've always loved the published works of GM LEE, Kyu Hyung. One question. Did you mirror image parts of these? I ask because at the start of each, the Um/Yang with the gwaes around it is reversed. The normal order (clockwise) is Keon, Sohn, Gam, Gahn, Gon, Jin, Ri, Tae. The image here is mirrored.

Hi I wonder if you can give me a hint on this. My son is a Poom degree holder and he is competing in Poomsae tournaments. I noticed that some dobok producing companies (adidas, jcaliku and mooto) make a diference in the neck of the dobok for poomsae and combat. Poomsae has the red strip on top. Combat uniforms have the black strip on top. Can you tell me if the red strip of the belt should be on top for poomsae? I know this can be a silly question, but I can not find an answer on this. I have seen some photographs and I have mixed results. The main thing is the correct presentation of the uniform and obviously the belt are important in a poomsae competition. Thanks before hand and saludos from sunny Mexico

You will want to check with your local governing body. At most levels, it really does not matter. If you're competing in world class international events, you're expected to wear the WTF "Y" neck uniform, which has red over BLUE for poom ranks, not black. There is no universal standard for which way the belt is worn.
