Also another tip from another Pharah main: everyone will fucking hate you if you play her, so get ready for the psychological torture of solo ults from Soldier and Mccree, Ana suddenly becoming a DPS, and constantly having a D.VA in your face.

This is actually good. While almost the whole team is focusing on you your 5 teammates on the ground have a huge advantage to beat them. Sometimes a passive but annoying Pharah can win games.

I like to main both Mercy and Pharah since I enjoy their mobility so much. I get a lot of direct hits as Pharah and Mercy's healing is probably the most satisfying to use imo. I move around a lot so I can survive most of the time, especially as Mercy. And then caduceus blastering tanks alone and killing them gives me this sense of superiority.

I've definitely been practicing with Pharah and have unconsciously developed some of the habits mentioned here. One thing I'd like to add is that I've found using ult (when wombo combo too) above enemies instead of from the side or front is much more effective as they usually don't anticipate it and many Rein aren't quick enough to react. A nice trick you can do with the concussive blast is that when an enemy roadhog hooks someone of your team, you just shoot the concussive blast next to the roadhog, so he will "fly" behind a wall and your teammate just crashes into the wall and doesnt get killed. And you dont even need godlike reactions for that. You can even predict it and maybe also blast him away before he hooks.

This is great. Getting to 3600 with Pharah, I've done a decent amount of this but not full in all areas, so you reminded me of more things to flesh out. The thing I lacked the most are some environmental shots you showed, and baiting them. Dva is just toxic to the game. 750hp + she get her 600hp back if you don't manage to kill her fast enough+ defense matrix + an ult that blows everything away+high mobility. it's really too much.

ive played pharah for over 200 hours and theres still some really good info in this video. just thought id chime in on a small part, you said nano boosted pharah can kill enemies through transcendence but you dont even need to do that, regular barrage has still netted me 5ks because people think theyre safe so prioritise something else. it takes the entire ult duration to wipe a team but pharah still far out DPS's a zen ult, especially if theyre all in a zarya gravitron

I've solo queued as pharah from 2200 to 3600 from your tips. The biggest one that helped me was to never pop out of the same spot more than twice in a row, always be in a new position when you come out to take shots, especially at your counters

Now if they are running Pharmercy, it IS your duty to murder than rezzing bitch. Her flight patterns are a lot easier to predict bc she follows pharah.

Something to consider when dogfighting pharahs, is that pharah deals 120 damage on a direct hit (150 with friendly discord, 156 with mercy/orisa damage boost, and a whopping 195 with friendly discord *and* mercy/orisa damage boost) , compared to 32.5 self-damage, tops. If you can slip in around another pharah when she's already wounded from fighting (say, with your team's Zenyatta, for example), you can shoot her point-blank in her ass and finish her in short order before she knows what the fuck is going on--it all comes down to spotting her and approaching from an angle she's not prepared for, while she's targeting one of your teammates. Obviously it's not the kind of thing you go looking to do, but if the opportunity presents, punish.

Pharah is already my secondary hero, my backup (i'm main widow, which is more hated than pharah i guess), but she is the hero im getting my best results playing comp, with a mercy at my side (i'm high diamond). I guess i already covered almost all of the tips u mentioned, but i really lack communication sometimes and that is what is killing my gameplay. I got better at that and i'm almot reaching masters again, so thanks for that. I guess the next step is to improve my aim. I still miss a lot of direct hits sometimes...

The only thing I would add to this video is reactions to when you are countered. Eg they swap in solider, widow etr to get u. Sometimes u just gotta play the flying bait because if they are waiting for you, they are not adding dmg to their team but u can still pop off some behind cover rockets to help burn a shield or just add covering fire. and ofcourse saving that ult for the wombo even if u get shot down during/after can help ur team push for a win overall.
