Hey, I’m loving all your videos! Thinking of taking a girls trip with my best friend to Cuba. I’m wondering which resorts you would recommend with beautiful grounds, clean and fairly modern rooms and of course a beautiful beach!!?

Hey, sorry for the late response. I’m currently on vacation 😆 There are many great resorts in Cuba. My fave is Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo but that’s mainly because I’ve accumulated family during my stays. Newer resorts that I’ve seen are Grand Aston Cayo las brujas and Grand Sirenis Cayo Santa Maria. The beaches there are absolutely stunning. Thank you for watching my videos. Enjoy your vacation 😊

Would you recommend one over the other between Gran Muthu Imperial and Gran Muthu Cayo Guillermo?

I haven’t actually stayed at Imperial - I’ve been there a few times to visit a friend and have gone on a couple tours. Imperial has a nicer lobby and looks more updated (in my opinion), but Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo has a nicer beach and is perfect for long walks. Hope that helps a bit 😊

I bring Canadian bills when I travel to Cuba. I’ve used Canadian for tipping and for cabs. The bus and tours use credit cards, but only cards issued from Canadian companies.

I enjoy the food at this resort. They do have shortages but that’s the reality of all resorts right now. Cuba is experiencing low supplies but what they are changes all the time. You will not starve though. I personally think this resort does a good job with meals and what they have available.

If I had to pick between the 2, I would go with Grand Muthu because I have many friends there, I like the layout, better food options, and I love the pools. I liked Grand Aston for the beach and lobby entertainment.

Yes, there is a theatre and they have a show each night. The theatre is shown in the video.

@@chazzykha3121 hello. I think it depends on the season and how many people are at the resort. I was at the Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo in April and they had a karaoke night.

Are you asking about the lobster at Sendero? I don’t know how much they charge now. I think it was around $20 last year, but I’ve heard a rumour that they only allow repeat guests to go there now because of shortages. I will find out for sure in a few weeks 😊

@@TravellingKareena I’ll be there this Thursday and figure it out thanks. Kind of disappointed to find out cigar bar is closed kind of major reason I booked this place. I usually bring my own cigars anyway. Are there tables with ashtrays around the resort?

@@jefftaylor2041 they are separate resorts - the facilities next door are not available to use. Have a wonderful vacation. Hopefully the cigar bar opens while you are there 😊
