I was very young when Little Jimmy Dickens stopped off at my Grandmas house to visit her.. He was on his way to his venue to entertain our locals in our town hall. I was 6 years old and oblivious to the local communitys excitement of a super star performing for them. He bounced me and my brother on his knee and I remember that still to this day. At this moment in time I am 77 years young. We had no TV or running water in those days, but we heard him on the radio. Bless you Jimmy Dickens for visiting those comunities less travelled by others. RIP

Time machine, thank you for posting my distant childhood. All the talent, and people that don’t look plastic . I remember those days, making of my grandparents, it was better then

Thanks for showing this country memory and great to see lead by the man who helped Marty Robbins get his record contract with Columbia Records. Nice to see the others as well too Mr and Mrs Hawshaw Hawkins and the always funny Lonzo and Oscar plus the great musicians and dancers. I wonder if that bored little girl now treasures this memory of her time on the show? Have a great day!
