The Chakri Maha Prasat Throne Hall is a throne that King Chulalongkorn graciously graciously To be built as a royal hall in 1876, after visiting Singapore and Java, he graciously hired Mr. John Clunis, an English architect from Singapore. is a royal carpenter who designed the throne, Mr. Henry Clunich Rose is an assistant carpenter. Originally, there were 11 different thrones lined up, now only 3 remain. In the beginning, King Chulalongkorn ordered to build a new throne in a western style But Somdet Chao Phraya Boroma Maha Si Suriyawong (Bunak Period) respectfully asked His Majesty to make it a castle. therefore graciously to change the roof shape to be the roof of the 3 spire lined up according to Thai architecture and elevated the spire in 1878, with a royal palace commemoration in 1882. His Majesty graciously bestowed the name Chakri Maha Prasat Throne Hall. This throne, on the top floor, is where the ashes of the King and his wife have been enshrined since King Mongkut. high-ranking officials attending or accepting honorable guests Inside the throne is enshrined Phuttan Thoma Throne Hall which is the royal seat of the Chakri Maha Prasat Throne Hall The throne is made of wood covered with silver, covered with gold paint, which is called Thom Ta Thong.

In France, you have to pay to check in any their museums, in England even no need to pay, but please remember that in their museum, there are lots of old things that belong to its colony, free to entrance is reasonable, but in Thailand, our ancestor flighted to keep our land to belong to us otherwise the other countries would move our nation property to their country, thus the foreigner should pay to see our nation property is just. In addition, everything need maintenance, it is impossible that the place is always beautiful. Anyway, there are lots of beautiful temples in Thailand that is free to entrance.

Great building structure and design but very poor customer service from Thai people. They took you to watch the Kwon performance but left you there to figure out to get to your car yourself and that’s so ruin! In addition, they charged the foreigners very high fees.
