Duuude! Barb is killing it already on this first level, the bumpin' theme, the clouds scrolling in the back, everything! Can't wait to see more! SO MUCH HYPE! Edit: Haven't done a self-edit since Invictus, but I realized after I commented that Poo played a second level! And what a level! That freefalling section was so... clean. The consequences of missing AND the payoff of making it were amazing!

This hack is simply gorgeous in every way: 1) It isn't just difficult on top of difficult, but has some "gimme" sections, which are also satisfying. The levels are brilliantly paced. 2) The lore and emphasis on theme is executed brilliantly so far. 3) Setups are interesting, intuitive, but avoid being rehashes of the past. 4) Seems to have the viewer in mind as well, as these levels are very satisfying to see completed. 5) The music is amazing. 6) The overworld map has been done beautifully. 7) Trolls seem to be well-placed and sufficient and satisfying. I feel like this is a smart choice. Let the troll hacks be super trolly. 8) Just so much care everywhere you look. Simply amazing work, Barbarian, Composer, and the Lunar Magic ASM specialist (don't know his name).

Was about to say otherwise. Seems like Barb should really study invictus and learn from it, his levels are so boring and bland in comparison. As a viewer its really boring compared to invictus. This hack just seems like its out of the past. Shame he seems to refuse to learn... Same with his mario maker levels, they might be fun to play, but they are absolute garbage to look at. Both is what makes hacks rise to perfection, which invictus truly is.

Not always the biggest fan of Barb's Maker stages, but he has killed it with his romhacks- nevermind the sound tracks, GPW1 was easily at the top of the list in that regard and I expect this to be right there with it. Only caught like 10 minutes of this on twitch cause the site just doesn't work for me anymore, but I've definitely been looking forward to this one.

The 2nd level, when mario is doing the free fall, and the background is moving with you to simulate the falling, is such a nice aesthetic touch, its unbelievable. I think honestly that was my favorite part.
