Thanos’s snap was intended to curb overpopulation on planets across the universe, so I think it’s safe to assume that the snap killed 50% of each planet’s population individually, rather than 50% across the entire universe at random, so saying “50% of the Moons in each kingdom were killed” makes sense

i love these videos, you should keep doing them fir. Also here's a speedrun challenge that you can try to get modded. Slaughter%: you start with a 30 sec timer for every kingdom that will count down and kill you if it reaches 0. You can gain 15 seconds of extra time on your life if you kill any enemy such as a goomba for example. Before kindgoms without any enemies to kill like ruined kingdom, you can have a 2 minute timer as it would probably be impossible with 30 seconds to beat the dragon.

Talking Ben%. You must ask Ben for every non story moon before picking it up. You can ask for a normal any% for any 3 kingdoms. If he laughs you need to pick up an extra moon. Restart if you get softlocked. Edit: I tried this run and he laughed so much that I am removing that rule if you try this run.

Mystery% you get a friend to write down a specific task for you to complete. It could be like getting a specific moon, jumping of a specific cliff, or bonking in a random spot. It could be literally anything. You do not know what it is and you have to guess by doing the things and when you do the right thing, they tell you and the run is over.

Gamble% Do the any% route but you have to gamble in every kingdom that has the gambling game available, and you have to get every ending in the gambling. (At least 1 coin win, 1 heart win, 1 moon win, etc)

These videos are hilarious, and I hope that the "Stop sending me ideas" was in jest and you do more. Honestly, there could be some interesting potential in "Thanos races" or similar if it was smart enough to guarantee the game can be completed. Remembering moons off the beaten path to get to get through quickly could be interesting. Also, feel free to disregard if you really don't want more ideas, buuuuuut: Orbit%: Every time you pick up a moon, a 2 D sprite of it appears on your HUD and starts to orbit Mario. Each moon starts at a random distance and orbits at a random speed/direction. Get as far into the game as you can before your screen gets totally obscured by moons.

World Bonk%: Bonk in every Kingdom as fast as possible

Now it’s time for maximum captures. It’s the opposite of minimum captures. You have to capture every single thing you can in the game. This includes duplicates of every capture. Every unique entity must be captured. The only exceptions I will give you are respawning enemies and bullet bills. You just have to capture one bullet bill per cannon.

Speedrun idea: Homeless% Mario is now homeless and has go up to random NPCs and beg for moons. The NPCs will give him a task or errand to do, like go ground pound this spot, or bring me this seed, or kill this enemy, exc. It could also be transformed into Felon% Mario has been sent to jail and has to perform community service to complete his sentence and save peach :)

This deserves its own stream/video due to the inevitable long length it will have%: 100% but you have to do the moons in order. Not kingdom order though. You can collect moons 1,2,3 in Sand Kingdom, then go to Cap and collect moons 1,2,3,4, and then go back to Sand to collect moons 4,5,6.

Democracy%: every second moon you have to let chat vote whether you can get it or not (if chat votes no, they have to vote on more moons until they say yes. Then you have one free one (however you cannot pick one up that chat previously said no to) and then chat has to vote again and so on). Anyway, great video again!

I suggest "stomp%" The run ends when you have killed every single enemy you can kill by just stomping them, like the Goombas. If any other kind of kill happens because of you, either a direct not-stomp kill or by accident, you have to reset the run, unless it is an obligatory kill to progress on the game, like the bosses.
