@Irfan87 this is an older video. We dropped the music a while back because KZbin was cracking down despite "fair use" laws. We even sent word to the bands before using. Megalithic, Prong, and Primus.

@Irfan87 yup, and as long as people use Google by default KZbin will rule. They're never gonna show an alternative in a search result when they can earn money by giving you KZbin results.

Just noticed you hit the slide release with your trigger finger. I do the same with my p11. Releases super easy. I got short thumbs though so I always use my right fingers to operate slide release and mag release if possible.

@scorpion520az87 жыл бұрын
True, "budget" is subjective. I was thinking compared to Sig, HK, etc.
@GBGuns7 жыл бұрын
Very true. GPs are usually around $600. There's a heck of a lot of machining that goes into them and on very modern equipment using European labor. I'm impressed they can sell them as cheap as they do in the US.

I believe that because of the overall craftsmanship, it’s not perfect but it is different reliable and extremely accurate

I have to say that I love the idea of a double stack 380! I have a good array of pistols but the one that is ALWAYS with me is my Kahr CW380, light and small enough for the pocket or my Alien Gear OWB holster (covers up as well as an IWB holster), with a DeSantis pocket mag holder for a spare and both are loaded with either Hornady Critical Defense or Ruger ARX rounds and the gun loves both. I’ve been researching this double stack concept for a while and found only the Bersa Thunder Plus and the (apparently vaporware) Sccy CPX-3 so it’s good to see a good quality product in this space. My only concern is that, at this size, I might as well carry my P320 Subcompact. But I am all-in on the 380 idea, with the newer ammo available. I think this GP will be my next purchase. And then a Hudson H9 after the price-gouging subsides a little. Nice shooting, Erika!
@CaveWyatt6 жыл бұрын
Argh! Did KZbin autoplay to the next video while I was typing this response to the CP380 video? Obviously, this was an answer to a question from a different video. Apologies.

Graham, your videos are awesome! Love your gun-choices (since you're tastes usually run similarly to mine--lol), & I think your 'what's for dinner' segments are incredibly useful. That said, I'd really like to see you utilize a full mag, at least, of each ammo-type... Three shots is just not enough, in my experience, to see if a gun really will digest a certain type of ammo or not. *Unless you're doing that off camera, of course... Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃

Well that proves it’s reliable, and just as tough as the browning tilt action semi-autos only more accurate and less recoil!

I have a feeling you just gotta keep the barrel wet. Good addition to my K22 Xtrim. Thinking about the p11 or p1 ultra next? If you could only get one which one?

OK, my last attempt to ask for assistance from you guys. You guys are the ones that seem to know the most about grand power guns. I've recently purchased the P11. She runs like a top while shooting. But every now and again after the slide locks open on empty. I drop the empty and feed the full mag. I then actuate the slide release and a round will fail to feed. Nose up. I'm not limp wristing or using crappy ammo. I've now got Hornaday critical defense 115 grain hollow point rounds in each magazine. I was originally using federal 124 jhp. And for the purpose of range firing I used fmj. Those were also failing to feed (nose up)after loading a new magazine and dropping the slide release. But never during shooting. Care to venture a guess as to why? I've emailed Global Ordnance and Grand Power with no response from either.
@GBGuns3 жыл бұрын
Usually a feed issue like that is ammo or magazine related. We've tested and shot that ammo in our Grand Powers several times so I doubt it's the ammo. Grand Power's magazines are usually excellent, but maybe yours is damaged or tired? Have you tried it with several magazines?
@joelando15593 жыл бұрын
@@GBGuns I've tried it with all three mags that came with it. I'm not having a single issue with Hornaday critical defense

You mention that you have to keep it clean. Have you had reliability issues with it ? I understand all guns need some maintenance but do you think it's more finicky than the average pistol ? I'm interested in getting one for a bed side gun, but if its not reliable....I'm out.
