You hit rev limiter, not enough revs in sixth gear and rear wing needs to open more.

i am just trying this out and got a version of GP2 that is 1.0b but then when i put the x86 files in the game folder and run it, it still tells me its the wrong version - do you have a link to a correct version of gp2 that this works for. I also own a copy of GP2 but it is also not version 1.0b

You need the original US version of GP2, then copy the contents of the zip in the main vid description into the GP2 folder. Let me know if that doesn't work
