Ive never seen a breed love water as these dogs. Mine would typically retrieve items at the bottom of a 12 foot poll. Just amazing.

The way I always explain hunting to ppl, most duck avg 2-4 years of life. For those years that duck lived free until the second I pulled the trigger. Then it became food for my family. If I miss, that duck goes on living free. If I go to the market and buy a duck. That duck never took flight all it’s life, that duck never left a pen, that duck never saw it’s birthday. So tell me which is worse “sport” hunting or our industrial food market?
