The Grand Seiko Heritage Spring Drive Automatic SBGA203 is encased in 41 mm of Zaratsu polished stainless steel surrounding a black dial dial on a stainless steel bracelet with folding buckle. Features of this Grand Seiko Spring Drive Automatic and its Spring Drive caliber 9R65 include 72 hour power reserve, 100-meter water resistance, hours, minutes, seconds, date and power reserve indicator. This Grand Seiko watch also measures 12.7 mm in thickness and 48.8 mm from lug-to-lug.

It's a Grand Seiko. Even without a name on it you'd know it was a Grand Seiko. The finish and dial hardware leave no doubt as to who made it. I can't help but think this would be improved by some sort of texturing on the dial. A black Snowflake (call it the Coaldust) would be kind of neat. This one is just a little plain as is.

Is there a sd model without the power reserve indicator?

I tried one on prepared to buy but it sits high/wide. I have a sarx055 that is 41mm and is less long lug to lug somehow when it sits on my wrist, I compared them side by side. Disappointing but a beautiful watch. Need to find one with a smaller lug to lug but it doesn't seem grand seiko puts the measurements out there.

They used to have to ship them to Japan for servicing but there is now a certified master in New Jersey, United States as well. Either way, servicing intervals on Spring Drive are significantly longer than any other automatic watch and the services are in price parity with servicing of other high end watches.

Tim, why is it every time you do a Grand Seiko video, you start off saying, "GROND Seiko" and then later you say, "Grand?" Which are you going to go with? Grond or Grand? Is sounds so disingenuous when you say it both ways. If you're American, say Grand. If you're British, say GROND. But not both.
