Grand Teton National Park Backpack Trip '12

I saw that quote on a shirt in a store in Jackson, Wyoming. I think it remains a fact in my life.
I went on this backpacking trip in the Tetons with my dad and his friend. It was awesome. We did much of the Teton Crest Trail, plus more.

Fantastic video ... today is August 9th ... I will be leaving Tucson to hike Crest Trail on August 30th. Super hyped for it.

It was in mid August. For the most part there were not too many people. Of course the further from the trailhead we got the fewer people we saw. I'd say we saw about 30 or so other day hikers while we were briefly in Cascade Canyon. In Alaska Basin there was a group of about 10 or so in a horse crew we hiked and camped by.

i just opened up the map in microsoft paint or whatever that free program is that came with it. then i saved it with the lines at different points

sweet trip man. we just got back from a very similar trip but we went the opposite direciton (Tram to Paintbrush Divide). how did you get the purple lines displayed on your map picture? would love to do that myself. thanks.

Thanks. How was your trip? I didn't see much more than that, though at one point we ran into a hiker who said he had just seen a bear minutes earlier
