Many will think it's odd that I made a montage for a silent protagonist but let's just think of him as the famous mute protagonist by the name of Claude. This is a montage of al his amusing moments where he nods and his very few badass moments. Not all game protagonists need to speak to be badass.

Frank Tennpenny and Steve Haines would not be able to blackmail or push Claude around that much since Claude would not even care who they are and he wont really care of the consequences at all. To Claude, authority and position means nothing to him. Dimitri can easily manipulate Claude and betray him. But unlike Niko, Claude would not even respond to Dimitri's taunts and threats and Dimitri dosent have anything to threaten Claude with. Claude would just remain emotionless and not care at all. Devin Weston can trick Claude or rip him off out of a payment, but Claude dosent care and will not care about his connections. The fact that Claude has nothing to lose and the fact there isnt anything to threaten him with means Claude dosent have to hold back at all. If Claude is after you, he will not stop and you cant really negotiate or get into his head at all. Claude is one dangerous, silent, emotionless killer that you don't want to have after you.

People always associate the GTA 3D era with CJ or Tommy but in reality it’s Claude who was their original successor PS I don’t get why people overthink Claude killing maria at the end. I think a lot of people get Claude's character wrong. All we really have to do is look at his past and see what deck of shitty cards his life has played him. He lost his garage in SA to CJ and him and his girlfriend Catalina went on a crime spree for 9 years. Out of nowhere she betrays him leaves him for dead and he gets hit with a 10 year prison sentence. Out of pure luck a police transport carrying Claude, 8 ball and the old dude is ambushed and Claude and 8 ball find their own ways around Portland. Claude is angry and sad; probably coping with the stages of grief throughout the game. He really did love Catalina it seemed from how he acted towards her in SA but love can turn to hatred very quickly. In the end I think as he saw Catalinas helicopter go down he wished he had done it sooner. He killed Maria because of his past issues with women and he probably blames her and Catalina for all of his troubles. Which he wouldn't be wrong for. He does any type of job for the right type of pay because he realized something after the love of his life left him for dead. Everybody's got a second motive and when they get the chance to enact it, they will. So betray them all before they betray you; is how Claude sees it. Probably. Emotionless is the wrong word for Claude, I think maybe stoic would be better.

The next GTA after 6 should be an end to 3D games basically main characters are Tony and Claude an old boss Tommy and retired CJ. Tony and Claude are the main guys and the story focuses on Tony losing weight and being a mafia moss and Claude surviving and doing raves Meanwhile Tommy does a Scarface mansion shootout And CJ does a shootout in the grove Street with sweet and Cesar and woozie come to save him We also get a fight between Claude and Tony of course there are 3 options Tony wins Claude wins and no-one wins the characters eventually meet eachother and all characters have unique mechanics Tony is fat and slower for most of the games and weight loss it's only possible via missions ofc later you can gain and lose weight easily Claude has Franklin ability because he's a racer Tommy it's older but has higher accuracy but also slower and less hp CJ can use 2 guns some characters can't use some and with you max out CJs stamina he can run the fastest and the farthest

Its my personal theory but I think claude is mute because Chatelina destroyed his vocal cords, You see in the biggining when she shoots him it looks like he is shot in the throt. I know some fanboys will attack me for my opinion, or someone will approve it. But I don’t care. Claude's story is one simple question: why do you need enemies if you're saboteur on your own? Storyline showed us that the main antagonist, enemy and villian is not Catalina. It's Claude himself. He is not better than Catalina, either he is same as her or even worse than her. He also killed everyone he saw and who forced him to do it for money, he also stabbed in the back to everyone, who trusted him, who ever came in contact with him for his self satisfaction. Claude’s selfish attitude is same as Catalina: he uses everyone in his wishes and goals, and when he sees that he/she competed all goals and doesn’t need him anymore, drains them like used condom. He tricked CJ giving him old awful garage in San Fierro, he got involved with Catalina and Colombian Cartel for 9 years, who just used him as a handy instrument and temporary consolation that she got rid of in 2001, he meekly killed everyone for money, he crashed barely alive and bandaged man, which is unprecedented cruelty, he stabbed in the back to Yakuza and Asuka personally, killing her brother Kenji secretly, and hypocritically and despicably serving to Asuka like nothing happened. Like I have nothing to do with it. And Asuka blindly trusted him and believed that Miguel betrayed by Catalina, killed her brother for real. That blind trust played a fatal role in her sad death. He stabbed in the back to two women (second is possibly, 50/50, my opinion is below), who saved his life from inevitable death and treated him well. When he came to construction side and saw Catalina’s note about Maria what was Claude’s reaction for Asuka’s dead body? Nothing. He passed her dead body like nothing happened. He carried out the massacre on the dam killing the whole Cartel and, finally, got his revenge on his ex-girlfriend, as a result of which local innocent residents suffered and died. And in the ending, if we accept the opinion that Claude killed/stabbed in the back Maria during final credits (it’s very controversial, 50/50, of course, Maria has something to criticize, no doubt, she's the most controversial female in 3D era), Claude will prove that he’s much worse than Catalina. He doesn’t need enemies or friends. He’s saboteur on his own. He will prove that he’s the scum. Sneaky, lying, selfish, arrogant and hypocritical scum, who ready to kill, to rob, to stole and to stab in the back to everyone who trusts him. And players still call Catalina and Trevor heartless bastards? Are you damn seriously? T is an angel in the flesh compared with Claude. Catalina? Yes, she’s a heartless. But Claude is more heartless bastard and scum, than they both. He is the most evil, emotionless, heartless, inhuman, disloyal, dishonorable, soulless, cynic and cruel protagonists. Only Antonio Cipriani can compete him in violence and cruelty, cause he killed and dismembered a man by his ma's order, selling his remains to his own restaurant, and blew up an entire neighborhood, resulting in the death of many innocent residents. But Toni is one of the most loyal protagonists at all. He is honest to his family and to his boss, who has become like a second father to him. "Experience has taught me that a man like you can be very loyal for the right price..." - Donald Love (also one of the most evil characters). The moral of GTA 3’s storyline is a simple question: why do you need enemies if you’re saboteur of your own? Owned!
