I'm a PlayStation lover, and now that there's a patch where you can play this as a standalone there's no contest! Now if you're going for GTA 2 get the Dreamcast version, it's super wicked.

PC version can get even better, if you use the 3DFx version (easily done using NGlide + DOSBox). Graphic get less pixelated, since Glide make the image sharper. About the content, I remember GTA1 PS1 lacks a lot of content, like train system, side missions, Fire Department on San Andreas chapters, etc. By far, GTA1, London 1969 and GTA2 are superior on PC. I got to point out, you’re not getting the best settings on this game… you can have a much better performance than this on PC, and really better graphics.
