Still remember saying to myself "theres no way it will look this good" back in 2011. One thing I respect from R* is they never ever use confusing trailer tactics like cinematic trailer, or target render trailer in their history. They always use in-game/in-engine footage. Knowing that, I'm 100% confident gta 6 would indeed really achieve the visual that we've all seen in last year's trailer.

This was in-game footage but certain things look better here than in the final game. How lively the game world is filled with pedestrians here, some unique actions, more trees, lighting. Many times effects are embellished to make it look better. I highly doubt gta 6 will have that many civilians all on the beach at the same time. The game will look pretty much like how it is in the trailer but I'll definitely run at 30fps and won't have that much pedestrian traffic on screen at once.

Can you upscale all the trailers from gta 4 and 5, including the character focus trailers. I often go back and rewatch all gta trailers for nostalgia and would love to watch them in uhd.
