@Kat-Astrophe79 they're easy to make. You can use soft tortillas or crunchy (just deep fry tortillas into a U shape if they aren't sold near you). Flour or corn tortillas are fine. The Mexican version with cilantro and lime are better than American versions but both are good.

Those are Americanized tacos. And, yes, load on the toppings!! More cheese! Also shredded lettuce and fresh diced tomatoes are common, diced onion too if you like. You’d never get a taco like that in Mexico or at an authentic Mexican restaurant. The basic Mexican taco is a soft corn tortilla, various meat fillings, chopped white onion, cilantro, and a squeeze of fresh lime over the top. Both American and Mexican tacos are delicious, just very different.

I cannot believe Joe has never had a taco before. We have a thing called taco Tuesday in the United States. Mexican food is our favorite ethnic food. Of course, these kind of tacos are called white people tacos. Mexican tacos that are real Mexican tacos are a little bit different. But I grew up on white people tacos, just like that and I love them. 😍 Thank you, Mexico for your tacos, even though we changed them a little little bit. Lol

Get em wrapped up real nice, you can eat them on the go, some people go burrito or chimichanga. Soft shell wrapped over a hard shell is my main suggestion every time... Fill up a hard shell on top of a soft shell, overflowing like crazy, wrap it... Boom.
