I WAS BORED OUT MY SKULL AT A MALL WAITING FOR MY EX WIFE TO PICK A SHIRT OR WHAT EVER AND THEY HAD TV MONITORS AT THE STORE AND THIS SONG CAME ON AND IT CHANGED ME FOREVER, I BOUGHT THE CD 20MINS LATER AND LOOKED INTO PAST EPS . I STILL LOVE MY GRANDADDY, THEIR MELODIES , GUITAR KEYBOARDS SOUNDS ARE INCREDIBLY DIFFERENT AND I DONT SEE HOW THESE GUYS NEVER BROKE BIG, CRYSTAL LAKE IS A GREAT FOLLOW UP. I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO SEE THEM A FEW TIMES AND THEY SOUNDED AMAZING, IT MUST OF BEEN A GREAT VENUES AND ACOUSTICS WERE PERFECT FOR THEIR SOUND. LONG LIVE GRANDADDY.

JONAH WATTS Grandaddy is really special to me. Probably the oldest band that I still listen to and will listen to forever. Jason Lytle is so original and different from anything I have ever heard. Just so amazing. Grandaddy forever man.

This album is monumental. All the tracks and the flow it has, from the first to the last song, vibrates with how important it is. One of the best albums of the indie pop-rock genre of all time.

I really love this song. Growing up in a tiny town I was very lonely and isolated and hearing this album as a 13 year old really meant a lot to me

I fell in love with this album during one of the worse phases of self destruction in my life. It’s soo good that I always come back and I’m able to disconnect it from that period of my life and continue to enjoy it.

Fácilmente una de las mejores bandas de los últimos 30 años (al menos en el género rock/pop). Es realmente insólito que no hayan sido más famosos.

they are amazing artist and have nice songs but why they are not famous? I'm Korean fan who know Grandaddy in 2016. I thought their music is similar Radiohead or Coldplay but why this singer couldn't be famous? Anyway I really like Grandaddy's music I listened A.M180 everyday night It's my best song!
@Gillty1016 жыл бұрын
More actual answer is a bandmember died and the group otherwise grew weary of a fame they actually had acquired for a time and chose to step away from it, with the exception of a few solo projects.

Some people don't want fame. I mean, what is fame but opinions of others. I enjoy their music, so famous or not, Now it's on.
@cpmenninga5 жыл бұрын
Maybe it was due to the state of the record industry and a lack of publicity. Even if they didn’t want mega fame it’s too bad more people didn’t get to hear their music, because it’s good.
