Many thanks - in all fairness the "sound quality etc" is purely down to the original track and the backing track, I don't alter them too much, I just in effect cut, paste, loop and maybe change the solos around a bit. Glad you like it.

That is actually Mick Fleetwood playing drums but his part was tape looped hence the lack of fills due to previous drama from Fleetwood Mac surfacing. I like it though, it sounds like a Linn Drum but if Mick Fleetwood was playing Linn Drum samples instead of his Ludwigs and Paistes.

Just a heads up...there is a skip or audio anomaly at the 2:45 mark. Also, at around the 5:10 mark where you have overlay between the original song and your replicated/reproduced instrumentation and backup vocals, it is slightly off where you can hear what sounds like echoing, and then as you fade out the original, the tempo picks up slightly.

Hey, it's just a hobby - I'm not looking for sonic perfection. Anything at 2.45 is from the original recording - probably a glitch in the mp3 I downloaded or ripped from a CD many years ago. Thanks for listening and pointing it out but life's too short. If I ever run out of different songs to mess about with I might go back and change it with a better original recording.

Hi - here's how I do it. I usually purchase the isolated backing tracks (from one of several sites on the web) and then use RIPX to split the original mp3 into 4 stems - drums, vocals, bass & other. (There are also several sites on the web that will split your mp3 file) I then "match" them by lining up the drum tracks of the original and the backing track on my DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and then cut/paste/loop etc. to my hearts content! Finally I play the song on Virtual DJ and screen record my PC and then upload to KZbin Thanks for listening
