I'm pretty stoked Geyser made an RV product. I've been using their main camping product for the last 2 years while camping at my kids' motocross race weekends. You can really get very clean using just 1 gallon of water. Now that we have a campervan with a wet bath, this Geyser RV product is gonna be awesome.

We purchased one of these devices from a representative at the Truck Camper Rally in Quartzite. I previously used this at their "shower demonstration facility" at the Pacific Northwest Rally in Redmond Oregon last year and thought this is very clever. At that time this version for use in RV's / Truck Campers was at a the testing stage. Brilliant device that pushes water from the inside of the sponge so that soap, or whatever you use, is gradually released and less likely to stay there.

Clever Idea. I used to capture dish water and put in the black tank. Like you, my grey always filled before my black. I also discovered that those cheap harbor freight cooling towels were excellent for sponge baths. They needed very little water, and big enough that one rinse was usually sufficient to do a decent job. Something about the material they were made of made soap rinse out fast. I had several and would use one per shower (bath), then launder with my clothes.

Thanks for the tip, TR! In addition to doing what you do with dishwater, there are times that we've taken a 5 gallon bucket and filled it once or twice with gray water, then poured that into the toilet.

Two of us on a seven day trip filled my 67 gallon grey tank.. I didn't think that was possible. My kitchen sink has its own tank so it was showers and bathroom sink use that filled my tank.. Next time I have to try a Navy shower.. Thanks GA

That grey fills crazy quickly, J! When that happens, we transfer some to our black tank with a 5-gallon bucket (or two or three) of grey water poured into the toilet.

I have a sponge bath system when everything freezes and can do it with half a gallon. But most of the water is lost trying to rinse out the washcloth. This system is better because it gets all the soap off with an added half gallon and no rinse required. Thanks Marc. You always have good gadgets to demo. Gord

I can see this working okay when soaping up or scrubbing, but I don’t see this working as well when it comes to rinsing off. You have been using this for a while now; what do you think? Pros and cons? On our last trip out our black filled up faster than our gray. 29 years at sea….I think I got this sailor shower down. 😉 Ram 👍🏼👍🏾

Cons: It's not a real shower, it's a glorified sponge bath. Pros: It uses a tiny fraction of the water used in a shower. The rinse functionality is really quite good. Because the water emanates from within the sponge, it doesn't take much to clear the sponge of soap, so after that you're rinsing. You may have that sailor shower down, but Mrs. GA still needs some practice to be effective. 🙄
