❤ thanks for sharing. Very interesting camping at the theater. Who would have thunk it! I don’t think I could do it as I can’t stay up past nine.😂 Horrific regarding Zoey… we can’t imagine the panic in your hearts and minds. Positively thankful for that tracker and you only were 15 miles down the road. It could have been much worse. Thank you for sharing as a positive experience and being smart about having that device. A great learning experience for all of us pet owners shared by the most proficient RV Travel KZbinr. This is why we love you sir….your integrity and honesty. ❤

Thank you! As I just replied to @akgobears, it was one of those stories that was too embarrassing to share, yet too instructive to not share. And that movie theater was so fun! When we were searching for a spot for a quick overnight and spotted the drive-in, there was no way that we could pass up that kind of experience.

So very glad that Zoey was okay. You are a great fur parent. Zoey hit the lottery when she joined your family. Love the idea of camping at a Drive-In. In the 70”s we used to pack up the kids in our VW Westfalia, grab a bucket at KFC and head to the drive-in for a fun night out. Thanks for the triggering memories Marc. Safe travels.

I've had my Viair 9 years, haven't used it once, that's a good thing. Now, the battery pack jump start I've used twice, once for me and once for a lady at the beach.
@GrandAdventure
@GrandAdventure 10 күн бұрын
Yup, we carry one of those jump packs too, although I haven't yet had to use it on the F-350 and wonder if it would be enough to overcome the compression of the diesel. I'm sure that I'll find out one way or the other some day. I have, however, even used it to start our generator when I've stupidly left the starter battery on and drained it. And that Viair will be ready when you need it. We've used our smaller 88p many, many times to air back up following offroad adventures, and one time even used it to air my buddy's 33" tires on his Rubicon back up AFTER airing my truck tires back up, when his compressor from another manufacturer couldn't do the job. The Viair handled all 8 tires without complaint.

I have one of the VIAIR 450P-RV compressors. My compressor claims to have a 100% duty cycle. I have found that it does work better with a standard 3/8 in air hose over the small one that comes with it. Mainly because it uses the hose as a air tank. It does take a while to fill one of my 315/80 22.5 tires. I like the HH as that is the first one at a drive in I have seen or heard of. Glad you remembered Zoey before you got to far.
@GrandAdventure

@@GrandAdventure Just a little truth in advertising. I use the Viair on the toad and have used it for toping up on the RV. But I do have a Dewalt Pancake Air Compressor, 165 PSI 110v in a storage bay. I am lucky as I have 110 available most any time.
@GrandAdventure
@GrandAdventure 9 күн бұрын
@@WILDEBILL308 as do many folks. Until I got the F-350 I only had 110V AC if I carried an auxiliary inverter. Then, of course, there's some inefficiency introduced. With a 12V compressor I always have direct power available. I started using 12V compressors for off-roading long before we bought our first travel trailer.

That is a very unique HH. We might just look it up. We will be passing through North Carolina next week, and it might make a great stop over for us. Also agree on the compressor. Always have one on board with us. Definitely poor inflation is the biggest culprit to tire problems without a doubt...especially on a trailer. One thing I do not do though is just blindly pressure my tires to the max rating. Rather I did the CAT scale thing and found out what is the actual load on my trailer axles. In my case fully loaded for travel we have 6800# on the axles or roughly 1700# per tire. Knowing full well that the trailer is never loaded perfectly evenly, I add a fudge factor of 500 pounds per tire and then round up to the nearest 5 psi. In my case, I thus check the charts for my tire size for 2200 pounds of load and the nearest round up is 50psi will support 2271#. So this is the pressure I run and over many many miles, never an issue. I want all the pressure I need to support my load, but don't need the tires bouncing around like a basketball either shaking up all our stuff. I am also perhaps on the anal side when it comes to tires, but I rotate mine every 5000km (3000 miles) on the trailer. Despite them just rolling along, when you do a lot of distance, as you clearly do, they just never wear quite evenly. Continued safe travels.
