Where do you put the battery management system? Does it come with a battery? If so, what battery? How does one fit a battery to battery charger into the setup? Love the slide out LP tanks.
@evansrvs27 күн бұрын
The battery management system is built into lithiums (if you buy one with a BMS built in, ie. LiFePO4) We include a 12v battery at the dealership, but you can upgrade and it goes right in the battery box on the outside.
@larrysmith418026 күн бұрын
@@evansrvs Thanks for replying. So you're saying the solar charging is also managed by the inboard BMS in the battery? I don't think I've seen that before. Most campers and batteries that I've seen have an external solar charger. Can you give me an example of a LiFePO4 battery that also manages the solar panel charging? I didn't see where the circuit panel with breaker fuses on your video tour. Where is it housed in the camper? What about an inverter. Is there one to offer some 120 volt service while offline? The specs say the fridge is dual fuel. Is that 120 v and 12v or LP and 12v? The newer fridges seem to be mostly 12v these days. When I asked the same question about a 12v fridge in another camper I was told that it draws 5 amps when running. What details can you give me about this fridge model? Thanks for your time.
@evansrvs26 күн бұрын
Happy to help! No, the solar charging is managed by the solar charge controller as described under the cabinet in the entryway. There is no inverter built in. The panel is located above the step on the side of the dinette. The fridge is 120v/LP, and I’m not sure of the amperage draw from the 12v option.

I like the camper however, the dining table is absolutely not Sapele. Couple reasons... Sapele is a fine grain mahogany and weighs a tone. That grain is absolutely a plain sawn (plain slice) white oak. White oak still weighs a lot so almost always a table size pc of furniture is always a plywood. and not a solid pc. Actually for this purpose a plywood makes more sense than solid oak. Plywood is more stable and less likely to warp and much lighter in weight. The table in your video is wrapped with a solid white oak band. Same reason cabinets in a home are made with plywood boxes and solid wood fronts. prove me wrong. lol
@evansrvsАй бұрын
I’d love to get to the bottom of this, since you aren’t the first person to bring this up. Their marketing materials all say sapele table, I’ve clarified with the factory before and they confirmed that it’s sapele, but I’m thinking that maybe it’s just the darker accent line that’s actually sapele. Do you think that could be the case?
