This is a compact video of a walk around the Granday style Okinawa Yomitan Hotel & Resort, located in Yomitan on the main island of Okinawa Prefecture, as well as videos of the rooms and meals.
The features are "good facilities," "luxurious guest rooms," and "delicious meals.
The facilities are good.
All rooms come with complimentary services such as Okinawa sake at the bar, snacks and alcoholic beverages at the club lounge, and an infinity pool.
There are dozens of varieties of Okinawan local sake, including old sake, habu sake, Miyako Island craft gin, and many other rare drinks.
The seating in the club lounge is partitioned off to provide a good environment for eating and drinking while maintaining privacy.
The indoor tea pool and Jacuzzi are all heated (34~38℃) and can be used all year round.
Luxury of guest rooms
There are only 54 guest rooms, all of which are over 50 square meters and are of suite specifications.
The rooms were stylish, with soothing ash-colored tones and indirect lighting illuminating the minibar and sofas.
The food was delicious.
We had breakfast only. It is a semi-buffet style with a self-service menu of salads and soups, and a choice of one of four main dishes.
The four main dishes were Okinawan blessing bento, homemade Okinawan soba noodles, Ryukyu herbal porridge with prefectural chicken and black rice, and Western food (open sandwich). We ordered the Okinawan blessing bento and homemade Okinawan soba noodles, which had good reviews on the Internet.
The homemade Okinawan soba noodles were delicious, with the tender boiled soki well matched with the soup that had a hint of sweetness from the dashi broth.
The Okinawa no Blessing BENTO came in a two-tiered bento box, which was stylish to look at, but I personally prefer the homemade Okinawan soba noodles. It was the best Okinawan soba I have ever had.
