Thank you for sharing this. I wasn't born until 1974 but I miss the good old days. When life was so much simpler. I miss my childhood. This really made me cry. Thank you for this❤

This was so very nice! I had five wonderful childhood years in Cayman from 1972 to 1978. I was 5 when we moved there from Trinidad, and unfortunately left at age 11 to live in the USA. I remember the island looking like it does here. I went to the Catholic School in Georgetown. I still remember my best friends, Sean Aiken, Peter White and many many others. I never returned but have always wanted to. I never felt as welcome anywhere than I did here. Caymanian’s are the friendliest people on earth! I look at videos of the island today and I am shocked at the buildup and wealth. I am happy to see the National Park at Barkers where I used to play. It’s hard though to see so many of the pine trees cut down along the South Shore, that used to be a magical coastal pine forest. I am also very angry to hear about such a rich government completely neglecting its responsibility to its own citizens. There should be no poor or homeless caymanian’s while the rich expats and corporations live like kings! Thankyou for the visit back to barbecue chicken on the beach! Ha ha......

Very cool! We didn't get to Cayman until the early 70's. Amazing footage, Rum Point, SMB and the plane loop of the island.
