I'm from the Cayman Islands, specifically Grand Cayman andddd I found a couple of inaccuracies like number 5, also not everyone is rich there...you also don't have to be rich to live there... It's very expensive though because majority of supplies are imported in so they're taxed with importation tax.

Fun fact: The Cayman Islands were for most of their history a colony of Jamaica, as the British considered the territory of too little value to administer themselves. Back then it was little more than a poor, sleepy, fishing village of interest to no one. All governing was done by Jamaica, who dispatched a judge every month by boat to perform local administrative duties (marriages, notarizations, divorces, etc). When Jamaica decided to become independent in 1962, the Cayman Islands reverted back to the UK. They then discovered they could make a tidy profit from banking, and the rest, as they say, is history...

Not only are many "facts" wrong, you even show an image of a mountainous island at one point which is clearly not Cayman... Grand Cayman is FLAT! Wrecking your Lambo? We have very few frivolous cars here, but what an air headed comment to make! I've lived in Grand Cayman since 1983 and have seen very, very few cars that even fit in the same category. 30 to 40 mph limits on most roads while 50 mph is the top speed limit on this tiny island. If ALUX ever held any credibility with its viewers it should be considered lost with this video.

As a born and raised Caymanian, there are a lot of things that i can be offended about, but one thing i refuse to be offended by, is the truth. Cayman does have a huge problem with Child Abuse, and many of the issues are SEXUAL. If you are a Caymanian, i beg of you to not be offended by the truth. This is our biggest problem, we think its better to be quiet and "keep private matters private". F That. Cayman Islands has a problem with child sexual abuse. The UK does have the ability to push laws on us, but they rarely do this. Plus all actual Caymanians are so far from their partially British roots.

We do not pay income tax, and because we are a member country of the Commonwealth we have basic public needs like education for free.

There is not Grand Cayman Islands. The Cayman Islands is made of three islands: Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac. There is indeed no income tax but indirect taxation prevails, and duty is imposed onto all daily transactions, as most imported goods pay at least 22% duty. Education is free only for Caymanians and those with status. The rest of the people pays very steep tuitions in the private schools, whose fees are public information, displayed in their websites.
