GRANDE RONDE River - 7 Days - Minam to Heller Bar by PACKRAFT & CANOE

I've wanted to raft the Grand Ronde for 40 years and never did, but hopefully one day soon! My favorite rivers for white-water rafting are the Selway River, the Main Fork & Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho, and the Grand Ronde River in OR/WA.

Yes, it really is a special river: wild, scenic, fun white water, lots of camping, wildlife, canyons, hills to hike! I look forward to making my third trip down the Grande Ronde this April.

Please don't fly drones on public lands designated as wilderness or protected under the wild and scenic act. They aren't allowed because they disturb wildlife and people alike and can become litter in the water or land if they break.

Hello Sean. Thank you for your comment. Just wanted to let you know that I take diligence to fly my drone in compliance with regulations for each area I fly in. Wild and Scenic Rivers are administered by the land management agencies that manage the lands around them. The flight areas I used along the Grande Ronde are administered by the BLM and Forest Service, as well as the FAA of course, and no flights were within Wilderness designated areas. I do appreciate your vigilance on this topic, as it also disturbs me to see drone flights in illegal areas like wilderness, National Parks and State Parks.
