I have been using Nutraluxe lash MD for almost 6 months and love it. But when I go online to buy more it says the website is unsecured now :( idk why but I cant access the website anymore. The ingredient lists between grande and Nutraluxe are very similar. And let me say that serum WORKS. Nutraluxe worked for me, gotta give it about a month tho. So hopefully grande works just as well :)

Can’t wait to try! I’ve used the Rodan & fields in the past. Excellent results. But let’s be real. That price tag is just too high. Miss those results so I def will be scooping this up! Great review and tips! I’ll def be trying a serum to add in! And You’re absolutely correct on what happens when you stop! Your eyelashes don’t go bald! Sorry I’ve been commenting as I watch, but this review was 100 percent amazing! So true and accurate. Thank you for being so honest and trustworthy! So glad you are genuine. I do love this serum and I also did experience my lashes falling off more regularly. My lashes did grow tremendously and I did also get the darkening line on my lashes (both upper and lower). I have also got it in my eye and it does sting! Lol. I also do notice that now since my lashes are already long, it’s not really growing my lashes anymore. Thanks for an amazing review, you covered every single thing and more. I know that I can trust you blindly now for any other reviews :)

I just started using this. I have a question for you- were you using waterproof mascara? A worker at ulta once told me that waterproof is drying and not good for everyday!

No! I actually can't stand waterproof formulas- they're too hard to get off!

Okay- so idk if I am biased since I also worked at ulta a few years back, BUT what I've heard is the waterproof formulas have drying alcohols in them, also people when they wear stubborn makeup tend to pull and tug at the skin especially around the eye areas, which is not ideal because you should be delicate with your eyes and lashes.

If you are using a waterproof formula- maybe at night use a lash conditioner? It could be a serum or something of that nature- but that should help keep them supple and that helps prevent lashes from being brittle and breaking.

Using a lash serum from a different brand, but curious as to what order you apply/ what part of the lash when using the conditioner and serum together.

I don't think it matters all that much as long as you let the first dry down completely before you use the other! I don't apply them to the same areas. I'm sure they comingle in some way, but my conditioner goes directly on my lashes and the serum goes on the lashline. Instructions may vary with other serums. If your serum goes directly on the lashes I would apply it before the conditioner.

I am using the serum right now! I was gifted the serum last christmas and stopped because it made my eyes red every morning. I was gifted AGAIN this past easter and it is still making my eyes red (i’m still using it though) but did that happen to you too?

No. As I mentioned in the video, none of the negative side effects that can come from using it happened to me. If it irritates your eyes, I would stop using it!

This product had made my under eyes darker and it even contains a chemical that may cause pigmentation changes in the eyes or around it. When I stopped using it my under eyes went back to normal a bit however they are still dark

Would the Lancôme CLIS primer be considered a lash conditioner or suffice? I use that as a primer it says it has vitamins, conditions, etc. looks similar to the grande lash one you linked? Or does it feel nothing like a primer when putting it on?

I honestly don't know! if it conditions the lashes, I imagine it would serve that purpose. But the lash conditioner I use does not linger. It's knd of white-ish on the lashes for a minute, and then is completely disappears. I don't know if a mascara primer coats the lashes and stays the way a mascara does, if you understand what I'm saying.

I always used it every night, but I know some people use it less frequently as time goes on. I had the same breakage issue and adding a lash conditioner helped me!

You should try a lash lift 😳 also did you curl your lashes in this video if so how do you manage to keep them curled? I curl my lashes and once I put mascara on they go back to straight, I’ve tried multiple mascaras so not sure if it’s my lash curler?🤷‍♀️

Try waterproof mascara, I had the same problem until I switched to waterproof and now my eyelashes stay curled all day.

You mentioned you tried both products together. Did you put on the grandelash and then apply the other serum right away? Or, Did you apply one product at a certain time and apply the other later that day? I ask because I wanted to try with a similar lash boost serum but was afraid of the ingredients clashing.

I apply one and wait for it to completely dry and then apply the other! The methods of application are different, so I'm not sure how they would act, or if they would have much of an effect on one another's efficacy at all, if they were used basically in tandem, but I split them up just to be safe. I usually apply the strengthening serum first and grande lash second, with maybe 15 minutes in between! I've been pleased with that.

Very informative video, thank you!! I have seen a lot that grande lash (because of the prostaglandin) can potentially cause green and hazel eyes to turn brown. I’ve seen people say that it’s fine for brown eyes, since they’re already brown..... but like, is that true? Would it be possible for brown eyes to turn darker because of this product? Because I love my brown eyes the way they are and don’t want them to change 😭 does anybody know any info about this????? If prostaglandin can turn brown eyes darker?

I’m using Nanolash for 2 years now and love it. No breakage! I don’t think it’s normal to have breakage from a growth serum?! Have you tried tinting and lifting your lashes? It makes such a difference, no need for a curler anymore which is bad for lashes anyways. Thank you for your hounest review 😘

After learning more about prostaglandin analogues I would say the caution is very much appropriate! I've stopped using Gradelash at this point and have switched to something without them, because the potential permanent side effects are scary. I really didn't even know the full depth of the effects when I made this video. I will be updating at some point!

My recommendation is that you look up the potential side effects yourself and make a decision based on what you learn. If you're pregnant, or trying to get pregnant, I would say don't use it (and grande recommends the same). A lot of people never experience any of the permanent side effects. I never did and I used it for 8 or 9? months (something like that). The mild effects are darkening of the lash line, which is SUPER common, but usually goes away when you stop using it. I don't think it's a bad product or even "dangerous" (the potential side effects are mostly cosmetic/not like, life threatening) and many people use it for years without any side effects at all. It's really just a matter of what you're comfortable with and what's going on in your life.

Does this contain bimaprost? I use careprost now and it is fantastic, but I am scared about longterm side effects like loss off fat around the eyes. So I am looking for a more natural solution.

Grande doesn't contain that specific ingredient, but it contains another ingredient that is essentially the same thing. Both ingredients are prostaglandin analogues, and so they have the same potential side effects (darkened skin, darkened irises, sunken eyes, thinned skin, etc). Most effective lash serums contain prostaglandin analogues, unfortunately. I'm switching to Xlash which I hear works well without a prostaglandin analogue!

I just started using it last night! The shipping was pretty slow, as I think it comes from somewhere in Europe. I agree with how you feel, haha, and I really didn't want to change because I've never seen a more natural alternative work the way any PA containing serum has. XLash is the only one I've seen without PAs that SEEMS to work. I have several friends who have switched from Grande to XLash and they've been satisfied, which was what made me feel confident in the switch! I will probably make a video about the switch and what I've seen in about 4 weeks. Hopefully it works! We shall see!

I also experienced that although my eyelashes were growing, 1-2 of them would still fall off regularly which is not normal for me. I am indian so my eyelashes are def not that brittle, I’m wondering if this is from the serum itself.

It could totally be just a difference in your reaction to it! but I will let you know that there could be a difference based off of WHERE you bought it. There is a massive counterfeit market for Grande Lash. I bought some from an unauthorized retailer after I finished my first tube, and it was 1,000% not the real thing. When I realized the differences I started looking into it and wow. I didn’t even realize how much of a “thing” counterfeit beauty products are until my experience with that fake Grande. Thankfully it didn’t do any harm, just didn’t really do.... anything. Anyway, definitely not saying that is your experience, more so just letting you know! Also I do have a friend that didn’t really see any results for 8ish weeks and then it seemed like her lashes grew an inch overnight haha. I think results vary a lot. But I do hope if you start using it again that you see results! It’s totally changed my lashes!
