Here's a story I've always liked:: In the cold-war 50s, while waiting for a poker game to start, Amarillo Slim, Sailor, and Doyle Brunson were bored... So, when there was an annoying fly in the cars room, Slim bet (at some nutty odds) that he could predict which one of several sugar cubes that the fly would land on first... And he won! (He had laid out several cubes, and, when he chose his cube (one out of many), the fly made a beeline (HA! mixed metaphors...) to that one. Slim had won by touching his chosen cube with a wet finger when he made his pick, releasing an imperceptible scent of sugar which the bees could sense and follow, and people could not! ...great post 👍
