I'm not sure how interested Oda would be in having Luffy face the same devil fruit for his final 2 fights in the series, but swooping in to clean up the exhausted strawhats after Luffy beats the one enemy Blackbeard had no hope of beating himself is 10000% in line with the kind of opportunistic plans he's been using to propel himself to the top this entire time Hell, I wouldn't even be surprised if Blackbeard were to help the strawhats between now and then, specifically because "I'm going to kill them later but I need them for now"

I've been on the "Straw Hats vs Red Hair pirates Davy Back Fight" train for a while now, and Cross Guild fits into that perfectly as a third contender. Buggy wouldn't need to be the main antagonist of such an arc, and we still get a Zoro vs Mihawk fight as the combat round

The biggest thing that I love about Imu is that they are a character who has spoken in the story, done things, had a big role, and yet…they are still an Oda Silhouette as if the the character themselves has the power to resist Oda’s pen and hide their image from us, the reader. What makes me wonder though is…what if Imu isn’t a silhouette, what if they are simply a being that is all black with red eyes…a living shadow, if you will.

Ah, Sakazuki, the one final villain I've been thirsting for a proper battle with for ages. He hasn't been able to since ironically, despite being fleet admiral, he never really gets the chance to really enforce his Absolute and Thorough Justices outside of processing paperwork. Let's be honest, there's only so many times you can say 'I will burn all evil to ashes!' before it starts to feel hollow. I'm sure Sakazuki doesn't mean for it to be that, after all, his ability to perform his tasks is up to the Elder Stars and not him, but that only means they've chained up their only asset, making it delicious irony that his old name is a reference to a famous mythological doggo.

Agree with some slight differences: 1. Imu 2. Gorosei 3. Holy knights 4. Admirals 5. Blackbeard Pirates 6. Cross Guild 7. Loki (Evil Giant Faction) You could say Shanks as an honorable mention but if he fights the SH Pirates I think it would be more of a test or preparation for the final part of the Throne Wars.

Personally I don't think most of these will ever clash directly with the straw hats Cross guild will cross with Zoro at the very least. The admirals are kinda off screened already. Sakazuki alone might have a punchout with Luffy, but I don't see the story having time for anything major. I've no idea how Luffy is supposed to first get to Laugh Tale and then come back to Marijoa to fight Imu in one saga, but maybe it's Imu that will teleport Gorosei will probably not get another major clash with the straw hats after egg head Holy Knights I can see being a part of a Shanks storyline, or in combination with a clash with Imu, not by themselves. Teach will be at the end in some way or another, but I don't think they have much reason to fight each other, unless Teach uses his family as bait From how things are shaping up, Shanks and the giants seem to be the next destination, but I don't really see how some internal conflict there can follow egg head. There would have to be something more connected to the rest of the cast. There is a slight posibility of a conflict between Luffy and Shanks, or that Shanks has left for some reason. But if that's not the case what threat can show up to the stronghold of the giants protected by two emperors and be considered a threat? Maybe what we will see is an all out attack on the giant island by Imu, Holy Knights, Gorosei, and the Admirals. What else could possibly be considered a threat?

I think Akainu is actually Koby's final opponent. The Marines seem to be set up so that during the final war half of them will defect to Sword or whatever faction Koby or Garp decides to lead. Akainu will probably stay loyal to the end, if for no other reason than wanting to maintain his power and his "justice"

Maybe Koby and Sabo team up? If anyone right now deserves to finish off Akainu, I think it should be one of Ace's brothers. Judging from what we know has to happen in the story, and the fact we know it will end soon, it seems Luffy will be too busy to fight Akainu, who's back at Marine HQ. Although I like the idea of Koby fighting Akainu, I think Sabo has to be involved somehow.

@Orion_44 That might be true that Luffy and Sabo deserve a shot at him. But if you remember marineford, then Akainu was fully prepared to kill Koby. He probably still sees Koby as a dead weight, but much like Garp, he now has a hero status with the public, making him hard to dispose of. Out of every character, it was actually Koby who took the biggest stand against him before Shanks had to intervene. As for Sabo, I have a feeling the revolutionary army is probably going to lose to be honest, and it'll be up The Strawhat Grand Fleet to beat the World Gov.

I'd like Akainu to die simply because I find the trend of good characters dying but villains surviving to be off putting. Especially since most of the final antagonists likely can't/aren't willing to change their ways and fit into a more peaceful world. Wano seems to be a good start, with Kaido, Big Mom and Orochi seemingly being dead. Hopefully they remain that way.

Its also been said that Zoan devil fruits when awakened can take over the users personality. What if the Five Elders arent just the same people, but their actual Devil Fruits, who have awakened and written over the personalities of whoever they originally are. Random Dumb Idea: Blackbeard is described as having never slept. What if he's actually already "dead" but since death is an "eternal rest" he just keeps going. And that's why he can use multiple devil fruits because the death factor of having multiple fruits can't kill which is already dead. And the reason both powers still stay with him is because of the pulling force of the Yami-Tami No Mi keeping them in place within Blackbeard

Was said he realized something about the fruit no one else did/realized it had an ability or power no one else understood. Hey Liam give this one a read One piece laugh tale:- Laugh tale is clearly not a typical island! It is not under water, and also it is not a sky island. Oda has already clearly told us where laugh tale exactly is. In the very beginning when luffy and strawhat pirates began their journey in the grand line Oda had already given the hint where exactly the one piece is. It is not the final island but the biggest continent in the world the Red Line. The laugh tale is situated on the continent itself unknown by the world government and Imu too. Basis:- When the Roger pirates reach laugh tale you cannot see what is in the background, no ocean, no sky island clouds nothing because at the very top of the red line there is nothing besides the continent itself. Hint:- The biggest hint is the very world itself the biggest cross mark on the world where the grand line and red line meet revealing the location to us the audience in a very meta sences.

I really hope the final fight against Imu is like a dungeon raid type battle where the top remaining fighters face them together. Like the Strawhats and Revolutionary Army vs Imu but those two groups are examples and definitely more people could be deployed to take down this monumental threat

This may just be well informed head canon, but not including Shanks as a final combatant is a bit bold. I understand that he is technically not a villain but lowkey he may have a master plot. He definitely waited for Luffy to awaken the DF and he for sure intended for Luffy to eat it. Why else would they leave such an important DF unattended in a bar

When you said that rocks and Blackbeard are the only ones that's has evil intent in the "d" clan made me think that the will of "d" is hand me down wills from the people who originally had the wills and intent that they wanted, like how Roger and Luffy is connected and rocks and Blackbeard has the same intent of being evil.
