Another very far fetched theory, but given Gaimons resemblance to a bush, I believe its possible that Gaimon is partly linked to George W Bush, a US president who was forced into war after terrorist attacks. And we already know that there is a great war set to happen near the end of one piece, which makes me think that Oda saw the historical events take place and decided to turn a previously pointless character into a character who will become important during the great war. Terrorism does seem to be an increasingly prominent theme in the story through the revolutionary army, and its hard to ignore the fact that Gaimon and Sarfunkel are first letter swapped versions of Simon and Garfunkel, a duo who made a song called The Sound Of Silence which it was speculated was about the assassination of John F Kennedy. Coupled with the fact that silence is all Gaimon heard for 22 years, jfk being assassinated on the 22nd of november, and it all could be grounds for speculation. will anyone, please , give me one logical reason Shanks was not there to save Ace. Ace was created to die, Oda said so himself, only later was the idea of him being Rogers son ,editer encouraged,thought up. So he (Oda) never had a plan to save Ace. But HOW can anyone reconcile Shanks not saving Rogers F'ing Son. This was Roger. Shanks(in a well written, consistent,story, would NEVER and I mean NEVER have let Rogers Son die. Please, anyone make it make sense.

The idea that characters being too powerful for Oda to use them has been something of a thing in the past, at least from my perspective. For example, I feel like Jimbei didn't join the Straw Hat Pirates right away because his strength risks overshadowing the other Straw Hat Pirates, right after they just made a return to the world at large and barely had the chance to show off what they've learned and how much they improved over the past two years. Oda held off on allowing Jimbei to full join until everyone else had thoroughly shown off their stuff, not to mention it helps that Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji went through significant power boosts on Wano so that you could more easily make the argument that Zoro and Sanji are still more powerful or at least equal to Jimbei, while Luffy is clearly still the strongest among them. ...Not that I want to actually get into power-scaling here, God help me, those kinds of discussions are just too much of a headache to deal with.

I still think it's a strictly wind-based power Dragon has, BUT with the right knowledge, you can use the wind to create any number of weather phenomena, ESPECIALLY if he can also manipulate the temperature of the wind. As for Baltigo, I thought it was an island with similar properties to Punk Hazard. Doesn't show up on a log for some unknown reason and may even have been protected by hostile currents.

I disagree on the 5 elders, I feel like it was obvious very early on that they are strong, and would be the main villains at some point. I mean they look like a pirate crew if sorts, one has a sword.
