@@death3678 yes, but why risk that? Of course there are different responses for everyone, but why woud anyone spank their child for screwing up? Children got to learn things, and when screwing up makes them feel pain or fright, then how are they ever going to learn to do it better? They will most likely develop a fear for failure, and even if they MIGHT not...why risk a mental damage that will stay with them even when they grow up?

My friend's mom was *awful* to her and didn't realize how bad (she did know it wasn't great) until she left for college and therapy, and she ended up resenting her mom even more than before. She didn't visit her when she was sick and she didn't find out she passed until like, 3 days after and she wasn't really upset about that. Just more upset she was left out of the loop than anything else. Her (half) siblings didn't understand why she didn't like her mom. Wild

Wouldn't 8 hours of laundry only be like....4 or 5 loads. My washer takes 45 minutes and my dryer takes an hour plus the time it takes to fold it 🤷‍♀️ That seems like a reasonable amount for a family if you do laundry once a week. It's a family of 7 ffs
@martasorangeberry
@martasorangeberry 4 жыл бұрын
I do that much for 2 people every 2 weeks, because you need to keep the colours separate. One wash black clothes, for jeans, for white, for other light and other dark, for towels and linen, etc. Like no. 8 hours isn't unreasonable. Only not a lot of actual work is required from you- you need to sort it, fold it, keep an eye on it, etc

There’s no law saying you have to approve of your family’s sin filled lifestyle or participate in their Heathen behavior. However We can choose to consider our friends as our family. Adoption would be an example of a family legally excepting a no blood related individual as their family. We can also emotionally adopt a group as our chosen family. Ie. blood brothers or even groups such as members of an organization like bikers, or police, or military refer to one another sometimes as brothers. And the ultimate true family is Gods people all come together for the purpose of honoring their holy father.

Possibly but only around 25% of the population actually react to bed bug bites. That's how most people get huge infestations. Found this out the hard way two weeks after coming home from a sketchy hotel lol. I'm lucky because normally I'd have never found them unless there were hundreds.

(Funny Story) This one time, over a year ago I went on a tinder date. It went well enough to go back to his place. While we were doing the business in dim lighting, I see someone's silhouette standing in stairway watching. I stared back without asking. Then I finally asked, "Who is that?" My tinder date jumped off and thought it his roommate, turns out it was a cut-out of George Strait.

As someone living in someone else's house, things happen. Rent and some household responsibilities are reasonable. And normal! But these ppl... Left a bag of food trash sitting in the kitchen until it started leaking, left a trail to the door, and never cleaned it. I only saw the trail the day after (as we have mainly separate spaces) when walking through to the toaster and my shoe stuck to the ground. I mentioned it and even a week later the marks were still there... So they just waited until it dried up.. letting their feet or shoes pick up sticky trash juice and track it across their level of the house. These people exist and yes, I'm working on finding a new place.

This looks like a Mom who raised a spoiled brat and then moved in to try and keep helping her kid out instead of making her grow up and deal with her own life. The fact that the 6 year old grandchild wouldn't give the phone back is a clear indication that the daughter is also raising spoiled grandchildren. I don't think Grandma should have called the cops or child services on the family. Then again my mom lives with me as I'm a single mom and she helps with my daughter and makes suppers etc but in HELL will I make my mom pay effing rent!!! I buy her flowers and thank her all the time for helping me out and making suppers etc. I have no sympathy for the daughter nor the grandma who raised her that way.

@@midiandawn I pay $500 + utilities for a 4 bedroom house. Now a bunch of people have move from different provinces because my county hasn't had 1 positive covid test yet (only 38 active cases) and now the cheap fix me up houses that were being sold have gone up. I don't think the 0 cases are going to last long with all the new people. They also don't seem to realize that most of them are going to hate most of the low paying jobs available. There is hardly anything here either, including, no movies or anything fun. There are a lot of seniors (usually old men) here who think they can drive how they want. A woman got hit in a crosswalk when she had the right to cross because the guy decided to go through a red light. They think coming from a city, even a small city will prepare them for this town where people have to go to the ER to get prescription refills. We only have Walmart here. We have one elementary and high school here. We have two grocery stores who charge horrendous prices. I refuse to pay $30 for 2 pieces of skinless chicken breasts. We do have a huge feral cat colony, a spider infestation that no one can get rid of, few jobs that are not tourism related (all low paid), and a housing crises. I just realized that I hate this town.
