Its not like that. Sometimes,the truly owner doesn't wanted any changes while still lived. If doesn't asked. I feel this situation in my Mother. She doesn't wanted her house changed at all. Excludes the painting on the wall,its still okay. But,others dont dare to changed it. She will become get so angry if someone changing the place of everything that she put on. Thats why,i just can tidy up only in my room,not the whole house. She will get so angry day by day. And nobody can make her calm till she changed again to the first place. I think Grandma like that too. So,her family still appreciate her while she still alive. And looked her happy face when faced the air in the morning. She is down to earth person living.

@@bungavira85 Thanks for sharing opinions. It’s true that there are some old people who don’t like to change anything at their place at all. Some of them live in a big mess, unhygienic place, but if someone gets in to clean, they object! 🫣🤔. Looking at this place, the grandma could have cleaned it up herself, but she didn’t do it, so unused stuff accumulated through the years became a big mess. I’m 70, and I clean up my place every single week.

I have seen many of these renovation videos. Many are renovated when parents or grandparents die. The houses are often in a disgraceful state so I wonder why these renovators do not renovate when their parents/ grandparents are alive? They seem to allow them to live in houses that are not fit for habitation but as soon as they die they seem to want to go and renovate and live there in comfort! Seems very strange, I was wondering if anyone had any idea why this happens. I also think that many of these videos, say "renovate" but they actually mean building a new house and not renovating an old one.
