Thanks Pat for showing my completed block! I do own the card catalog! My husband and I bought it at an estate sale in New Orleans- it originally came from the Tulane law library. We moved from Louisiana to Ohio last year and brought it with us! Thanks for all you do! This is my first quilt along with you and I’m loving every minute of it!

We were lucky enough to score a card catalog from the library of congress complete with LOC inventory control barcode about 25 years ago at a government surplus store. We also got a coffee table that came out of the MD governor’s mansion. It was fun to reuse items with an interesting history.

Your yellow blocks. I think you called them Lemon chiffon. That is a prefect name for your yellow quilt. Love it. Thanks to you I have made a blue and white, green and tan and two scrappy quilts. Love them all. Thanks to you you thank you so much.

I’m using Lazy Afternoon by Zen Chic for this sew a long , very limited colors in the line, this block should be perfect for introducing some new colors from my stash into it . Your lemon chiffon blocks remind me I need to work on my blue/white squares, I think I have “800” 2 patches made 😆

lol, it always takes me a long time to decide on colors to use and the color combos and placement. So many choices. But that is most of the fun for me.

Both of my grandfathers passed away many years before I was born so never had a chance to know them, just heard stories.

Why do you have 2 Facebook groups. Both groups say you are the admin with others. It is confusing where to post.
