This is great. It took me awhile to fall in love with scrap quilts but love the cozy, “at home” look these days. I watch The Quilted Forest but don’t remember this particular project. You are both quite gifted with the craft - love the inspiration!

Your quilt turned out very pretty. This is something I may try myself, but I may sew the strips end to end on the diagonal just to dress it up a bit more. I love scrap busting quilt ideas.

Oh Sherri The Dogs on the back just made that quilt. So glad you used them! Wished I had a set! If you think they are available somewhere let me know the name. So cute and I do love the quilt, I can hardly wait to see the quilt on Friday. I love the daisy pattern. I want to make this quilt when I have some scraps or maybe I will just cut up a Jelly roll and get to it. I wanted to tell you I was watching a video the other day and a quilter was showing a clear storage box she had (3 of them) the length of a jelly roll and each of them held about 250 + Strips, I see peoples scrap piles sometimes and they just have baskets full of long strips and the threads are just raveling out the sids of them like crazy being tossed around, I'm thinking about watching the video again and seeing where she got hers.

I love it. Most of my 2-1/2" strips are sorted by color. As soon as I get enough of them accumulated with assorted colors, I will be making this one. I do watch the quilted forest but must have missed this one.

I also like Quilted Forest. I have adopted her monthly boxes for using up my scraps with your Wednesday suggestions. I label my boxes Week 1, Week 2, etc. and when I have a chance I make another block. I belong to a charity group making quilts for children so in between working on those, I work on your quilt. Of course I will add your Wednesday quilts to my donations to the charity group.

I am new to your channel, and love it. This pattern is adaptable for my focus of children's quilts. The solid grunge pulls it together and calms the varied scraps. I am working on the Scrapbuster #1 and #2. The paint chips in #2 have been hard to keep straight, and all my colors are too vibrant. You are helping me use scraps, but honestly, for me, scraps are not easy to use. Thanks a million.

I always look forward to and adhere to those months, yes please add 2 more😊 except for the batting I needed for current quilt top that will be done probably tomorrow or Fri? It's coming along much better than I thought!! Neck procedure last night so with left arm, shoulder and hand weak, tingly and mostly numb I'm not attempting to use my rotary cutter.. nope no way no how!😂😂😂 Have a great rest of the weak, I look forward to seeing yours finished on finish it Friday!❤

You can wind the long strips around an empty large cone thread spool from your long arm machine. Tape the start the spool and wind away! I used the empty spool method just yesterday and it worked well. The colors n your scrap quilt are beautiful!

That girly dog fabric is so cute on the back of quilt, and so is your Scrappy Quilt #4! Wow you had a lot of 2.5" strips in that tub. Wish we could work as fast as your sped up sorting was done. Love your l-o-n-g cutting mat!

Quilted Forest has a great video series to work on UFOs. At the beginning of the year she chooses 12 UFOs to work on through out the year and assigns a number 1-12 to each. Then each month she draws a number and that is the project she tries to advance for that month. No pressure to finish, just advance it. I thought that was a great idea! I don’t have that many UFOs but I might do that with my project ideas that have been sitting waiting for me to get to them.
