Yes sir, as we advance we can always come up with different techniques to do what works best for us. This technique is simple and very powerful for beginners to use as they advance.

Excellent Grandmaster. I have every confidence that Professor Vee and Dr.Moses "Musa" POWELL are pleased with their gifted protege and that the Divine Creator/Creatress is pleased with all who carry on the legacy of this special and unique system in the world of martial arts and the arena of urban survival.

So...... as long as your attacker freezes with their very odd Hook Punch attack then you'll be able to do all that. Lol. Dude I've been a Karateka for 37 years. Stop teaching freeze frame defense. Yeah it looks cool to a layman but WILL NOT WORK. You are training people to get their asses whooped. Period.
@UnlimitedMartialArts4 жыл бұрын
Hey Robert the only way a fish gets caught is he opens his MOUTH! You are looking and sounding really bad! If in your 37 years of training you have ever heard of Doctor Moses Powell(Sanuces Ryu) then you would know what we train our students not to get hurt! Keep watching and thanks for the views! Just my personal opinion. I wouldn’t hit the rib. Because of the second hand came out it would be hard to the twist arm. Especially if the guy was very fast. I’d rather probably prepare for the second attack. If I was going to twist the arm, I would have moved closer. Then tried it. But if your fighting a really good fighter that would be really hard to do. I’ve gotten my butt kicked, I’d rather not take that risk.
@robertadams14434 жыл бұрын
Sir with all due respect, you can find fault with anything because many find fault with the Infinite Creator Himself. But sir this is for beginners, who can learn your more advanced techniques later sir. Thank You Grand Master Sir. My Allah bless you to continue to show us these life saving techniques. As Salaam Alaikum!

Robert Adams again, I’m not saying negative. I’m just saying I wouldn’t do it. I’m not saying it wouldn’t work. To me I’ve would have blocked and countered immediately. That’s just my professional opinion. Again,

@@agelesskarate Sir forgive me if I sounded disrespectful my beloved brother. It was not done intentionally. I was only trying to emphasize the fact, that the Grand Master was only doing this video for the less advanced students like myself. Please forgive me if I offended you Sir. PEACE!
@agelesskarate4 жыл бұрын
Robert Adams I didn’t mean any disrespect at all. I just don’t think I would have made this a basic technique. I’m not saying the move doesn’t work. I’m just saying if the other guy pops me with a jab, then throws the second hand I’m going to counter him before he can throw the second hand. That’s all o meant. But I mean everyone is different, everyone fights differently, then the situation, your training, your style, your habits, reflexes etc, all that will come into play. Timing and distance as well. I’m just saying, I wouldn’t have taught the arm twist as a reactive technique is all.
