Nice. Reminds me of when I did a DNA test with Dad. I knew we were related, but there was some anxiety while waiting for the results, which confirmed we were father and son. Never heard him so happy as the day he got the results and relayed them to me over the phone, post-Covid. He was ecstatic.

When she said "i have 2 kids but in reality i have 1" i feel that. My special needs son passed just before his 14th bday, it was hard on me and extremely hard on my daughter (older) who was all about her lil brother even while i was pregnant. Its hard giving birth to 2 kids and then the unthinkable happens and now you only have 1 child and when you wanna tell everyone u have 2 but it hurts so much to explain y you r no longer a mother of 2

I took an Ancestry DNA test a few years ago and learned that the man who raised me was not my biological father. It was devastating. Both of my parents have already passed, and no one had ever heard my dad question my paternity. Through my DNA matches I was able to identify a man who is likely my biological father but sadly he has passed away also, and his family wants no part of it. He had a son so I wanted contact information for him to see if he would take a test to prove or disprove that we share a father and they refused. I'm glad that this young man received a better reception. Everyone deserves to know where they come from.
