It's really good to let these kids spend time apart. It helps them develop their own personalities and become more independent...

But they should've done that far earlier, from they were babies. They are three individuals. And I don't like the idea of skipping a class at all. You're a child for a very short time of life and a grown up for a looong time! Playing is not something unnecessary, it's a very important thing to become a good and smart adult.
@yeah_right88

@@ophelian4646 You're ridiculous. If a child is bright and skips a grade holding them back is literally stunting their mental development. I skipped 2 grades and it allowed me to flourish. You have no idea what you're talking about. If I stayed in a grade that didnt challenge me I would have quickly lost motivation in caring about school at all.

@@ophelian4646well I personally think that skipping grades isn’t a bad thing. A child can still develop mentally in a situation that challenges them while also playing. It’s just up to the parents to ensure that happens. Me and 53 of my classmates all graduated college together at the ages of 17 and younger. Now we are all seniors in college at 18 and 19, we had to learn to find balance and Dawsyn will do the same in her own way

Send her to that school. It's the best option. She's gifted don't stop her growth. I graduated 3 semesters early. It was an amazing opportunity. She'll be fine! If anything she can always go to the other school if she doesn't like the gifted program. Best of luck! Blessed Be 💜

Im an identical triplet. I'm 24 now, but when we were growing up, my brothers and I were never ever separated. I don't know if y'all realize how close the bond is when you're a twin or triplet. You literally do everything together. So much so that I feel like my brothers are a piece of me. And when we are separated, it's like that piece is missing and it sucks.
@TheOnlyWil

But is that actually something that’s beneficial to multiples? If you’re identity is that closely connected with someone else’s it makes it tougher to define yourself as an individual
@c.c1038

@@TheOnlyWilMy brothers are twins, my mom always kept them together. Same activities, friends, school and etc. One excelled, the other couldn't find his identity and grew resentment against the other. They now have a poor relationship with one another. Honestly, I guess it depends on the set of twins and triplets. This is their story.
@SandySandy-p1g
@SandySandy-p1g Жыл бұрын
@@c.c1038Sounds similar to my ex and his twin sister. They did everything together well into their 40’s same schools, jobs, even lived together damn near their whole life. Unfortunately now they can’t stand each other I mean he has admitted he hates his sister to the point he has wished death upon her. I feel like had they just taken some time apart it would have turned out very different.
@c.c1038
@c.c1038 Жыл бұрын
@@SandySandy-p1g I agree. I wish my mom had encouraged them to be apart more so they could find themselves individually and not be in each other's shadow. I know she did it out of convenience. It's easier to buy 2 of the same outfit instead of letting them find their individual style. It's easier to put them in the same activities so you don't have to drive to 2 different places for drop off and pick up.

While it’s hard to see their upset I think starting this kind of separation for short periods of time with multiples is vital for them developing their own personalities and individualism apart from their siblings. It’s healthier that they learn they don’t need to be anxious while away from their sibling at an earlier age rather than when they’re much older and trying to function in the real world

I think it’s good for them to separate, it definitely helps them to flourish. We allowed our twins to be in separate classes at school, they only had gifted classes together and they were in the same 4th grade class. They definitely have different personalities, you have to treat them as individuals not one unit, they all need different things. Do it now while they are younger, they will appreciate one another when they gather together after school or play together at recess, family breaks, etc. Our twins are in college now, they have different majors and they also have different bedrooms now. Time apart is definitely a good thing for siblings.

You have to talk to them ahead of time and when you do this it goes a lot easier. And they understand more. I have over 50 years of experience of working with children on all levels. And talkin to them really works they understand more than what you think

To those who say multiples should be split up because they are individuals and they should be allowed to develop their own personalities don’t realize that multiples DO have their own personalities from the time they’re born and are individuals; however, they are one and they should be allowed to move as one as long as THEY - the multiples - will allow it. Multiples will let parent know in clear terms when they are ready to not dress alike, be together, etc. And then they will have moments when they want to be together.

I don’t see a reason to separate the kids, as for skipping a grade she looks a bit to young to even care. Let her be a kid and participate in the easy stuff with her siblings also this could potentially split them apart or grow to hate each other in the future. They’ll all be the same age but one already graduated and in college they’ll look at it as favoritism no matter how many times u inform them that was never your intentions.
