Rinsing a kettle with a mixture of water and vinegar is healthier than using WD40 in your kettle! Or if you use distilled water in your kettle it will also remove the limescale but may take a few more applications than vinegar.

If you want to clean your bath Baking powder: A few little packs of baking powder can usually be found tucked away in most kitchen cupboards. This leavening agent consists of natron which is excellent for removing limescale and cleaning seals. To tackle stubborn soiling, mix some baking powder with vinegar or citric acid and leave the mixture to work overnight. Vinegar: White household vinegar with an acidity level of five per cent is a real multi-talent and ideal for cleaning a bath. For sensitive materials, dilute vinegar essence before use. A mixture of baking powder and vinegar is also ideal for removing rust stains on the drain: apply, leave to work for a short time and then rinse off. Citric acid: Citric acid is another excellent product for descaling. Add two to three tablespoons of citric acid powder to one litre of lukewarm water. Alternatively, cut a lemon in half and rub it repeatedly over the stains. Sodium carbonate: As well as being ideal for cleaning the bath, everyday household sodium carbonate is also excellent for removing blockages in drains. Buttermilk: Buttermilk is a real top tip from grandma’s treasure chest. Mixed with vinegar, it is very effective for cleaning a bath. It can also be applied on its own to polish the bathtub after cleaning. Leave it to work for around half an hour and then rinse off. This environmentally friendly solution allows you to enjoy a gleaming and naturally sealed bathtub. Laundry detergent: Washing powder or a liquid laundry detergent is a staple product in every household. As well as cleaning your laundry, it is also perfect for removing heavier soiling in the bath. Fill the bathtub with warm water, add the laundry detergent and leave the mixture to work overnight. Washing-up liquid: Everyday washing-up liquid and even shampoo can also be used to clean the bath. Soft soap: Biodegradable soft soap is a gentle solution to remove slight staining on the bath.

White lithium grease is a better lubricant for hinges and garage door rollers. We have an antique desk chair with squeaky springs on wooden casters with iron posts and applying regular WD40 didn’t last more than a few weeks. A mechanic told us about white lithium and it is much longer lasting. I saw that one photo in the video showed that the WD40 brand has that version but it is the ingredient that is what makes it superior.

It'll remove the rust on that bike chain, but it will also remove the grease that's lubricating the individual links of the chain. So, after you remove the rust, thoroughly clean the WD-40 from the chain. Romove the chain from the bike, then clean it with soapy water, dry it quickly, then rub clean grease into every nook and cranny of the chain as fast as possible, then put the chain back on the bike. I speak from experience, I had to do that a couple of times in my youth. 🖖😎👍 7:00

I tried everything to remove hard water deposits on a glass shower door after purchasing a 4 year old house and must have tried everything that was recommended, including 0000 steel wool and razor blades. Nothing worked but the one thing that did after several years and multiple products was Magic Eraser, even the generic version works. We had a water softener that the original owners didn’t maintain so haven’t had a problem after we repaired it so it has been nice to be able to see clean looking glass. I just wished that I had tried it before wasting hundreds of dollars and hours of elbow grease scrubbing and scraping. We squeegee the glass after every shower, use liquid shower gel and never have soap scum.

I was a National Distributor for LPS Products which knock wd40 into a cocked hat. WD is suggested stands for Water Displacer... I used to dispel that claim by asking if anyone had WD in their workshop, then I would demonstrate by putting two saucer on a table and two glasses, then open a fresh packet of Soluble Aspirin Tablets, then ask anyone to burst open one Soluble Aspirin Tablet, break in half and put a half in each saucer then spray one half tablet with WD 40....And I would then ask someone to spray the other tablet with LPS 1...whilst these two tablets were soaking up the liquid I would get someone to fill the glasses with water....Then after about 30 seconds I was get someone to pick up and hold one of the tablets and at the same time someone to pick up the second tablet and hold...then on the count of 3 to drop the tablets into separate Water filled glasses....ALWAYS the WD was dissolved before it hit the BOTTOM with the LPS treated finally settled on the bottom WHOLE. In this day and age we are constantly being advised to be aware of FALSE ADVERTISING....I AM TELLING THE TRUTH. if you have rusted nuts and bolts etc use some diesel if you have not got any LPS handy

Sorry! That does not work in south louisiana i used an entire gallon spraying those nests , someone posted that the wasps would never return . Wrong!! But if you paint the interior a faint baby blue, it tricks them into thinking it is the sky and that did work even with mud dawbers!!! And under the top thst covers your door paint that blue too and you wont be chased back indoors i had wasps make their nests in my side mirrors of my truck and every time i went somewhere it was though they were on a field trip. At the store they come out and fly around then before i leave they are back in the mirror. Well one day i decided to push the button to move the mirror around , my grandson was in the back seat , he started laughing really hard when the nest was sucked out by the wind, he said they have been displaced now what are they going to do, my grand daughter said they are not they are going to be someplace else in the truck. Sure enough when we returned to the house, those wasps were pissed, they were flying from the holes at the top of the bed of my truck we literally had to run inside to avoid being stung. Later that evening as we went to the truck so i could take them home, i was stung twice. My grandson thought it was hilarious. I too just could not help but to laugh with him even though it was painful. I love those kids. I niw live over 1500 miles away as i was displaced after hurricane ida. But every moment we were together it was precious time filled with love and laughter, lots of laughter. I miss that so much it hurts. Now from the tropics near the Gulf, im stuck in the frozen tundra! It is a culture shock along with severe depression and cabin fever. It literally feels just like Antarctica looks! Laughter has left the building.

You can't use WD-40 on the island of Saipan. I mean you can, it's available, but because of elevation (or more precisely lack of elevation) and humidity, what happens is you'll create a seal that traps in the salt air.
