I once had a feral female cat give birth to kittens under my shed. She kept them hidden until she wanted help in feeding them. So when she was ready, she brought the kittens up to my deck. The kittens were rescued, taken to the vet for shots and then adopted. The mother cat was trapped, got her shots, and she was spayed. Her ear was clipped. That was three years ago. She still comes every morning and every night for breakfast and dinner. I think when your Miss Kitty needs help in feeding her kittens, she will bring them to meet you. Miss Kitty is too friendly to be a feral. She belonged to someone at one point. 😊

Just crossed my mind how long has Ms.Kitty been out at Grandpa's before she had her kittens? As Grandpa spotted those other 2 kitties not long after Smokey passed. Could Ms.Kitty have already been pregnant when she was dumped?

Grandpa Ralph! I love love love watching you with your animals. You are just the sweetest with them ALL! I really enjoy keeping up with you, Chad, and Kyle. Miss kitty more than likely relocated those babies because where she had them got too tight for those growing babies. Also if the 'nest' gets too soiled she will move them. I used to volunteer for a cat rescue and I was their 'bottle baby' foster mom. I raised up well over a hundred kittens. Miss Kitty is a good mama. She'll bring those babies out to meet you when they're ready. I can hardly wait! Keep up the good work.

Prayers answered for Mr Charlie very happy he is home. You have done amazing work around your farm animals. The pig Waller and the draining shade tarp looks great for them. The bigger area for the goats I am sure they will love. Your chicks are getting huge and will also have a great place to be safe. Miss Kitty is my favorite even though you should not have favorites but ever since I was a child I had kittens and cats and dogs. I am wondering like you if something happened to her kittens or if she moved them. Let’s hope for the better. Still watching from Maine and it’s finally hit 70 but this week we will be back down in the 50s. Thank you for caring for all your pets and giving them a safe home.

Hi Grandpa good news about Mr. Charlie. Thatvis a huge area for the Goats. How long will you allow Miss Nellie to be broody? How often do you trim the pigs hooves? Glad Mr Charlie is getting better it's so good to hear and I was thinking where Miss Kitty would have her kittens and I guessed nearest place would be where Kyle's goats use to go in where the chickens use to go underneath , they like a dark place to keep their babies out the way of everyone they'll be out soon enough it's the Mamas instinct our two cats did the same thing everything we knew where they was we put them in a basket the Mamas took and hid them again . Its a job to stop yourself from looking everyone loves baby kittens but they are okay once there was a dog about when kittens were around she'd go pick up the babies and want them funny things female dogs love on kittens too God bless you all 🥰🥰🥰

Ralph, you are so sweet to your babies. Have you thought about putting a game camera where you think Miss Kitty is going in and out? I think her babies are just fine. She may have felt like she was to far away and vulnerable and needed to get to a safer place with those babies. If she is under the goat house, she can hear and see what's going on and her babies are good and safe. She is a really good mama. You are a good papa. Love all the space you gave your goats. I thank God for answering prayers, I am so glad Charlie is doing well, we will continue those prayers. Ralph you have done an amazing job making the animal pins bigger and more life sustaining. I don't know about the little chicks coop though I think I would do a little more research before you put them out there, I think you are spot on about the temperatures for them, When you are putting the chicken wire on the inside of the coop you might think about putting some on the floor of the coop I have heard some predictors might try to dig under the fence and get too the baby chicks. I still think you are doing an awesome job God bless you and Leanne, take care of yourselves.

Miss Kitty would not still be disappearing for hours if her kittens were gone. She probably does have them under the building. From all of my chicken research, I think the 2X4s are going to be too big. Wrapping their feet around their roost is a security when they sleep. How about trying some branches that are down? They are free and might be a better size for them at this stage. Just a thought. Prayers for Mr. Charlie and lots of love to you and Grandma.

Great video, Grandpa!! Your like me, been waiting for the weather to warm up to work on things & change things around some. We are adding in 3 more gates to the pastures for the 2 mares. Have to wait for the ground to thaw more. Maybe a couple weeks & adding to their pasture for more eats!! Here in Michigan we are just starting on the grass to turn green & it's exciting to things start coming alive again after this CRAZY winter!! Miss Kitty will bring her babies out to you, she's trying to cover up their meowing(crying) from the mean things that will have them for a snack. The deeper she hides them the less likely a predator will be able to get to them. Can't wait see the new baby chick's to enjoy their new palace!! Lots of warm weather ahead for both of us to get things done & make changes for our animals!! Love the cover for the piggy's they will really enjoy it when it gets hot.. The new fencing looks great and I am sure it is a huge relief to know all the Family of critters you have will be safe. I Especially like the wallow Cover . It is a Very Clever idea, with the rain running off it and going back in . The perfect warm weather shade and wallow pool in one! Well Done!

I used leftover wires wrapped around the hardwire cloth to make a "holder" for the feeder and waterer. I wrapped the wire around the mid-section of the feeder and secured the two end wires with a plier. Then I took another wire and secured the ends to the mid-section wire. Make sure the secured wire is direct opposition to each other. A loop is created that can be used to hang the feeder/waterer. Use bungee cords with mini hooks on the ends to hype up the feeders and waterers. That should minimize stuff getting into the feeders/waterers. Hook one end to the feeders/waterers and the other hooked to the wire mesh. The height of the feeder/waterer can be adjusted.

Great video Grandpa. You sure did get a lot of work done. I think the goats will love the extra room. The piggies sure are enjoying their water hole. Your little chickens are about ready to meet the world and be outside in a couple weeks. You know PDub would be the one to find a hole in the fence. He sure does love to pick on Batman. Miss Kitty seems to be doing fine. The fact that she stays gone for a handful of hours at a time tell me she moved the kittens and she is with them feeding them when she’s gone. When she gets hungry she’ll come see you or when the kittens are sleeping and fed she knows she can leave them. If the kittens were gone she would be around you all day like she was before she had them. I’m glad Mr Charley is home and feeling better. Miss Kitty has those babies well protected under that old building. One day soon, she'll have them out on display as she starts teaching them how to hunt and eat their catch. She stays with them and feeds them and She knows to come up to eat...She lays in the shade SO You won't See her Go Under...Or if they would meow you would hear them..SHE S SMART...ALL THE ANIMALS HAVE NEW SPECIAL PLACES & PLENTY OF SPACE!! That's wonderful news about Charley. Have you checked if Miss Kitty has been nursing the kittens. You might be able to tell. But she doesn't seem as stressed as she did when you first noticed the kittens were missing. Those 3 goats 🐐are going to live the good life for sure with the extended browsing area you created for them. The the 3 pigs have "got it made in the shayed" too. You are a hard worker, Ralph. The chicken compound is awesome. The goat pasture is so very nice. I am with Grandma where the kittens are stashed. Just hope a big black snake doesn't find them. You should hear them pretty soon if Miss Kitty leaves them and comes out to play.

Your little coop should work out fine for them to roost, but i would nearly bet the middle and the back boards will have the most birds sleeping on them. Your goat pen looks great.
