My Dad had a shaving brush with pig hair bristles. I have it now as a memento of him. i can still see him in the bathroom in front of the mirror spreading shaving cream on his face with it. When we were young kids we used to do Santa Claus and my Dad loved having fun with us about it. So when we checked the plate of cookies and the carrots we left out there were bristles on the plate and my Dad said they were reindeer whiskers. I plan on sending you, Ralph an email so watch for it soon. Bibs are a very common piece of outerwear for farmers and hunters here in Wisconsin. That was a very good gift for you Matt.

Great video. My Christmas was quiet, my eldest went to his girlfriends, 2nd eldest was working he's a chef. My daughter was with my granddaughter which is her daughter, 4th one was with his girlfriend and her son, just getting over COVID. 5th one was here 6th one at his home with his partner and her parents recovering after his op. 7th one was here. Y’all make a great team! When u talked about the pig hairbrush, it brought back a memory that my Momma had told me. As a toddler and young child I was VERY allergic to polyester and it had just been invented! Momma had to buy a wild boar hairbrush! It was the ONLY thing that didn’t break out my head! I keep it way up into my adulthood, until the handle broke. Best one I ever had!

HAPPY NEW YEARS AND BLESSED 2024🎉❤ Family is important, that is what our parents taught us. This Thanksgiving we had 64 family members attend our get together. Mom and dad had seven kids, my oldest brother was killed on a country road Christmas Eve with his family, we were blessed his family wasn’t killed but from us kids came our kids and from our kids came their kids. There was only one that couldn’t show up, had to work. We rent a church-school gym. So the one that had to work was a brother in law. Our Christmas get together was the 17th and only two great grandchildren and parents couldn’t come. Easter will come and we will all try to get together again. We had such a wonderful time and watching generations of the little ones playing together was a blessing. We know our parents would be proud of all of us that we kept this contact together. We know mom and dad, that is what they wanted. Family!
