Ifell on my 86 year old fluffy butt this afternoon when I walked my little pups. One went one direction the other opposite direction. I sat in the snow. So Grandpa, you know those clear plastic tarps around the goat pen. They will also turn your chicken run into a greenhouse. Warm and bright. I had so much fun putting green house panels on the chicken run roof. The chickens spend all day in their run. I suggest they bring Herc out of the pen to meet you first. He might be more acceptable to letting you in the pen eventually. I agree with you, they need a back up plan for a care giver.

Prayer needed for my moma. A family member had been paying her rent for her for a while. She just received a notice that she has to move. The rent is in arrears and hasn’t been paid in 7 months. I am on a fixed income and I have been helping out for years. This came as a great surprise. Just need prayers for her to be able to continue living in her home. She was only given 10 days to move. This notice was received on the 9th. This has been her home for 40 years. She continued to live there with my grandma. Prayers please!

I got about 10 " and had to shovel snow for the first time in my life! When it's freezing temps, never mind the snow, my water in the IBC tote freezes so I keep some gallons of water in my shed ahead of time. It is just to drink. I had dirty dishes stacking up so I did the pioneer thing today and melted snow on the stove to wash them. The snow is really a blessing as we've been in drought conditions for 2 years here in southern Missouri and the snow will melt slowly and sink into the dirt better. Thank you Lord! Texas Deb ❤️🙏

You're right. I'm sitting in my pj's having coffee and an early lunch watching you guys today. We are currently 19degrees celsius (66.2 Fahrenheit) and I have a warm top on as it is unseasonaly cool for Summer here in NZ. But we have cold winds coming from the South (Antarctica) and it is nicer indoors. Hopefully Summer will return to hi 20's / lower 30's by the end of the week. Use that tractor to move the snow, that is all we use to plow our driveway and we live in northern NY, we can get feet of snow in one storm. Just leave the bucket up about an inch because your ground may not be frozen that much. Winter is about the only time I don't miss having any livestock, hard to move with all the layers needed.

You have more snow than we do in Nova Scotia. As a kid , I loved the snow to go sledding, skating & building snow forts & tunnels. Now, at 72, I look out the window at snow falling & dread the ice underneath.( in Nova Scotia our weather has changed drastically over the years, so we get snow, then rain & snow again, hence the icy conditions) I agree though, that it’s beautiful! I was clapping saying come on Grandma…come on Grandma!!! We got sleet-rain-sleet and 1% snow ❄️ and it’s pretty much gone today!!! Was so blessed that we didn’t lose our power…probably because I’m prepared with a generator full of gas and two gas cans full or I’ll guarantee you I would have lost my power!!! I am jealous because the snow ⛄️ there is BEAUTIFUL!!! Instead of a snowman ⛄️ I make a SNOWDOG with a red ribbon & blue buttons for eyes 👀 & black for mouth…it turns out so cute!!! WOW! My goodness, is it pretty where y'all live. I live in Ozark, MO, and we got about the same amount of snow. Everyone here keeps saying that they've never seen this much snow, too. I've lived here for about 5 years also and I don't remember having snow like this. I'm retired and got my everything thing done before it hit so I don't have to go anywhere as far as driving. I only have 2 wheel drive KIA Spectra, and she doesn't like the snow. We'll, I do t like putting her in the snow. I've lived my adult life mainly in AZ, and the ony snow is up in Northern AZ. Anyway, you are very blessed to have a truck with all the fancy stuff to drive in snow. WOW! Watching all the Doss channels and the snow on everyones property is like, WOW! NO REALLY, WOW! Absolutely beautiful! Seeing your puppers with snow on them and snow around them, they were built for this! I've watched Hidden Heights Farm, and they have their LGD who is also a Great Pyrenees, and they say that that breed of dog has insulation like nobody's business. That's why their LGD sheds a ton in the spring. Anywho, they and the goats will be fine it's just that the goats don't prefer the snow. LOL! Loved the snow angel Ralph! That was fun! 😂 God bless. We got around 8 " of snow. Both of us have walking disabilities, my husband stayed in, afraid he'd fall. He as a bad back, and feet problems. I been out to check mail, started vehicles, neighbor helped me get propane bottle, out of garage and carried it to front porch for me. I have a painful bad knee. So we just stayed home. Last time I made a snow angel I was about 9 years old!! Good for you Ralph. We had about 6" of snow last Monday, followed by freezing rain and sleet, then another 3" of snow. Wow Leanne I agree with you. It’s a very pretty site crossing land like that all covered in snow undisturbed beautiful just like New England. I live in Massachusetts and it’s beautiful when it snows, but I’ve had my fill already one nice little storm and that’s good. I don’t want any more after that. I don’t like the cold. I’m going on 70 years old. I don’t want any more of the cold snow.😊😊😊😊❤❤
