We were visiting friends in Sydney I believe in the month of September and my goodness it was cold in Victoria/Melbourne 😱 We forget that Australia is a large country/continent! I don't blame you for leaving the ground early ,it was a very disappointing outcome. I love that you both spent time with your grandparents, they're obviously super proud of you and all that you have done in your life. It'll be great that you have this to show your daughters in the future. The shot tower at Melbourne Central goes back to 1822 and they dropped molten lead from the top into a cool pool at the bottom that was used as shot in a shotgun cartridge. I’m no expert , but the most authentic , closest I’ve had in Melbourne to genuine Thai food is Nana Thai at 169 Bourke St , the packed tables of Thai students probably speaks for its authenticity - anyways , if you get a chance , might be worth checking out!
