There is a tile called a cull marker. Its icon is a red cross. It is meant to be used to increase performance on a map with lots of geometry by deleting faces from blocks. It can also be used to create 1 way walls since it deletes collision as well as the geometry from that side of the tile.

if anyone's interested in what mosquitos are good for, theyre an extremely useful pathway to get food energy back into circulation. as babies, they grow up in any amount of standing water (even tiny amounts) and eat detritus found in that water. they take that energy from gunk in the pools of water and turn it into edible insects that other aquatic life, other bugs, etc can eat. as adults they can be eaten by completely different groups of animals and keep birds, spiders, bats etc fed. the female mosquitos (males dont drink blood) are famously micropredators, able to eat from animals much larger than them, returning energy those large animals have hoarded to their ecosystem without having to wait for a large animal to die. if a female mosquito is able to lay eggs before getting eaten, she can produce many many more if she got a meal of blood, so that small investment of blood can lead to hundreds of aquatic larvae each working to collect more energy from puddles mosquitos are definitely super annoying, but for anything that *isnt* a giant animal like humans are theyre these heroic robin hoods stealing from the rich and carefully collecting the produce of stagnant water to redistribute food back into the ecosystem

All walls in m64 are, in fact, one way walls that were invisible in the wrong side, but in vanilla nearly all wrong sides of the walls are enclosed inside a objcets or structure of some kind.
