A Hat in Time is a truly fantastic game. That being said it doesn't satisfy my Mario 64 itch at all, as it never really delves much further than Whomp's Fortress in terms of difficulty. A Hat in Time is much more about the exploration and fun narrative stuff than it is platformy fun times. That's certainly not a bad thing, but it's also not gonna scratch that itch.

The biggest problem with the 3DS version is the lack of analog stick functionality. The touch screen movement doesn't cut it when you have to worry about running out of space to move the stylus, and you can't hold the controller properly. 12:00 Imagine if this switch required a yump to survive.

if you hold A after falling and press B moving forward when on the ground, you do a speed kick which gets you at max speed fast but also lets you do the kick up the slopes thing like bob omb battlefield has

The way this video was very weird because at the start poo said alright lets play barbs level and immediately proceeded to not play barbs level , i understand it was like an editing thing but it was weird and not really clear that these werent barb levels until like a third of the way into the video where he says this isnt barbs level yet and its like wait what? lol
