Not knowing she added a suprise to your semi large coffee, you took it bitterly, mumbling "this isn't large, dummy!" "Thank you sir," she sarcastically goodbyed you. You got halfway home and couldn't overlook your upset stomach. At the nearest 7/11 you raced in, proclaiming the need of there toilet and ended up in the lady's room without notice. Upon the toilet clenching, you argued with a woman outside telling you she was waiting to use said room. You screaming, "I am pooing to death lady, no thanks to some girl giving me a Grande instead of a large, or vente.....WHATEVER!" Growning and straining, doing your deed at 11. The store clerk laughed and said to the mysterious lady outside the door, "that Grande Poo sounds like a dying Bear!" Some time thereafter, getting a coffee from your favorite place, you now kindly ordered a Vente, after some slight self educating and a much better mood. The girl behind the counter chuckles and exclaims, "Are your sure you don't want a Grande, Poo Bear?" In amazement you realize, not only is that an amazing name, but she obviously followed you to make sure you got what she gave you...what a real sicko!!!

Brian M. The black lotus card he talked about selling for 400 bucks is worth WAY more now depending on condition. Early set cards can be very expensive. I remember some time back, a box of beta cards, which is 32 packs of cards, sold for an exorbitant amount of money in the like 30,000 dollar range, I think sealed beta boxes are worth way more than that now.

i used to play mtg in the late 90s when i was in middle school, but quit when i started a new highschool since all the nerds in my previous school went their separate ways. I eventually got back into it for a little while and was super stupid and sold some of my more valuable cards for stuff i could play in standard. ofc the cards i sold/traded for around 10-30$ each in value then are now 100+$ each in value now. Still, it's nothing compared to having an entire binder of my rare cards being stolen...which back then I think valued around 300-500$ which is a shitload. I mean now it'd EASILY sell for at least 1k. Still, I think the highest value card I ever had was 30$, which was a Mox Diamond, and thankfully it wasn't in the binder at the time it was stolen...I traded it for another 30$ card at the time, but was standard, and ended up being worth nothing. I had bought 3 packs of Dark Ascension to get back into it and got the best card in the set, which was Sorin, Lord of Innistrad. So I ended up trading the Mox Diamond with another player for another one to knock out the biggest cards in my new deck..even though I was warned against it. I mean, it was worth 30$ when it was new, and it hasn't changed in value over a decade later.. Now it's worth over 200$ and it's only going up. OFC I had plenty of other 10-20$ cards to trade for the rest of my standard deck, which were all mostly uncommons that weren't worth anything when they were new. Probably 1-2$ at most.. like ancient tombs, wastelands, etc then went up in price over the years. I remember seeing a Black Lotus for sale @ 250$ at one of my local comic shops called sincere comics back in the 90s. IDK if it was alpha or beta or what, but looking back on it, would have been nice to pick it up back then. Wouldn't be surprised if it's now in the hands of Rudy over there at Alpha Investments lol...the mtg graveyard. Dude basically sucks up every mtg card that would ever be worthwhile, and pulls them out of circulation permanently to hike up the price and control the market himself. Rudy is nuts.

Dude when i first lived in vegas my roomates decided to move out one day and rob me. I come home from work and find the house empty except for a recliner. They took my bed my dressers my tv my microwave my name brand clothes (gucci shoes and belt some polos etc) and my magic cards. At the time my deck was worth around 600 buck of sold individually at market price but he sold the whole deck for 80 bucks. When i foubd out how cheap he sold my deck for i was pissed all over again!!
