If you had said to the engineers at #Jeep, back in the 40's and 50's that one day they would be building a $60K+ 4x4, they'd probably have laughed heartily and said there's absolutely no way. This is by far one of the most detailed reviews I have come across for the Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit trim. I'm currently window shopping for a new SUV and didn't have a lot of questions answered looking at some of the other videos. I agree with an earlier post that I wish the video were in better quality. But great to the point yet extremely detailed oriented review. Thank you for this video and good luck on future ones.

Very Good Review!! But One Correction - The Grand Cherokee Does Indeed Have Auto Locking Doors When You Start Driving etc & Auto Unlocking Door's once You Stop & Select P for Park!! These Options Can Be Turned On/Off In Your Settings Menu!!

Good review, 1 correction. Grand Cherokee does have auto locking door locks when you get going. They can be turned on and off through the screen.

I think it's called speed sensitive locking

My Grand Cherokee Overland has it too. I believe it is around 15 mph when it locks and unlocks when you turn the vehicle off.

Teenage Crime is a great track...also great review. Wife wants a bigger RV, so we need a new rig. The V8 will pull the Grand Design 2400bh with ease. My 16 Cherokee Trailhawk pulled our 17 1/2 Rpod 180 very well. Not ready to give her up...looks like the 14 Crosstrek is getting traded.

I got this exact vehicle in white, same leather package in white (a must IMO). It’s a nice whip I love it. I picked my 2019 up used with 11k miles a year ago 01/15/2020 for 44k. The driver safety features are pretty much trash. The adaptive cruise works well but the rest I leave off. The storage is lacking IMO but it’s good enough for me. The transmission could be smoother but it overall it drives very nice. The back up camera sucks on mine maybe cause he’s reviewing a new one. Some days I regret not getting the srt.

The interior looks nice. I have a 2015 summit with chocolate brown leather but after coming from a 10 yr old range rover with cream leather seats never again. They always needing cleaning and got a bit tacky when worn and we were clean people. I wish I had that shifter though.

Go ahead and turn off that eco mode. Its totally useless and self destructive, your engine will last longer and tbh i think the fuel economy is actually better with it off. Loving our 2018 Summit 4X4. its a fantastic vehicle!

Your right the eco mode makes the V6 and V8 slow and makes the gas mileage worse lol.

Unfortunately no grand Cherokee in the current lineup offers full factory LED taillights. The tail light function for night driving is an LED light pipe, but the turn signal and brake light indicator bulb is actually a halogen bulb. The reverse lights are halogen bulbs as well.

I'm sure you noticed that the lens of your camera needed to be cleaned. I wear glasses and kept reflex-reaching to clean them off. Slightly annoying. Great review though. A nice option in the SUV market.

jlwagon I did actually notice that unfortunately my camera lens got a scratch on it and I haven't been able to come up with the money to replace it yet. KZbin doesn't pay me the six figures that they pay some of these other people you know?
