Great, as always, to have you back out in these lovely fells where you belong Alistair. Your making the outliers more and more appealing. Your looking exceptionally well and back on form post op. Such a great knowledge of the fells, lovely to see. Lovely to see some of my favourites in the distance. Lovely soppy nonsense, its nice that your childhood memories remain almost intact. Where i grew up in fields only now lies houses and industry, bravo the Lakes and the beauty of the National Parks. PS i probably do need velcro fastenings but i have had great success with your lacing technique! 😂

I was very lucky, I have often thought I should write a book about my childhood. It was a great time, and a fantastic place to grow up. Every Saturday spent with my Grandparents in Ambleside... my maternal Grandad was a real countryman and taught me so much.... some of it definitely not within the law🤔😲 Keep practicing the Fellrunners Knot 👍 Thanks for your lovely comments and of course for watching. It was a beautiful day... I enjoyed it so much I went back with P. on Saturday and we did the walk again! Weather wasn't as good tho'! 250 is more than I ever thought possible!
